My precious daughter was diagnosed in Nov, 2025 with brain cancer. She's had many complications already. Any gift, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated. Her needs are outlined in the campaign. If all you can offer is prayer, we appreciate that so much. Please pray for Kelly. givesendgo.com/standwithkell…

🚨 TODAY, I submitted my public comment to the FDA regarding its proposed Rare Disease Framework. As the mother of a 19-year-old fighting an aggressive, deadly brain cancer, I have one urgent message: Patients don’t just need faster drug approvals. They need ACCESS to promising treatments while they’re still alive to benefit from them. My comment shares Braelyn’s extraordinary journey, the clinical evidence and long-term survivors associated with DCVax-L, and the enormous barriers American families face trying to access investigational treatments. I also outline Braelyn’s Bill, built around four fundamental patient rights: ❤️ The Right to Know ❤️ The Right to Preserve ❤️ The Right to Choose ❤️ The Right to Access My most urgent request is Braelyn’s Rule: Patients facing life-threatening diseases should be able to access investigational treatments through their physicians, with informed consent and manufacturer participation, without unnecessary regulatory obstacles. We should not have to fly across an ocean to access a promising cancer treatment developed right here in America. The FDA’s new framework must measure success not just by how quickly treatments are evaluated, but by whether patients can actually access them while there’s still time. I’m sharing my full four-page public comment because this fight is about far more than my daughter. It’s about every family who deserves the opportunity to fight for their loved one’s life. Please read and share. ❤️🙏 #BraelynsBill #DCVaxForBraelyn #RareDiseases

If this post does well, I'll tell you guys the story of my first paranormal experience. I know a few of you guys have asked me to tell it. I haven't shared this story publicly before. And I have only shared it with a few close friends and family. I didn't believe in that kind of stuff before this happened...

The company that gave this young girl a clear MRI and no evidence of disease has the ultimate Banger Treatment - check it out, hear her story. The cure to cancer has never been closer and it is not coming from Big Pharma
I have been waiting almost 3 years to write these words: NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE. 🙏❤️ Today we met with Braelyn’s neurosurgeon, Dr. Linda Liau at UCLA (telehealth). When our local radiologist read Braelyn’s August 28 MRI as “no evidence of disease recurrence,” we were thrilled—but I was afraid to fully exhale. I knew Dr. Liau and the UCLA tumor board would scrutinize every millimeter of those images. What if they saw something the local radiologist missed? Today, Dr. Liau told us that she and the tumor board had thoroughly reviewed Braelyn’s MRI. They were amazed. There is NO VISIBLE TUMOR. Even the ~10% Dr. Liau had to leave behind during surgery because of its intimate involvement with critical structures is no longer visible. She emphasized how amazed and pleased the entire tumor board was by such a complete response at this point. Her assessment: the prior radiation and the ongoing DCVax appear to be working very well. Their recommendation after also reviewing the Keytruda regimen Braelyn recently started? KEEP DOING WHAT SHE’S DOING. 😭🙏 First and foremost, we give ALL thanks and glory to God. People all over the world have prayed for this girl. I cannot begin to express how humbled and grateful we are. But tonight I also cannot stop thinking about how close Braelyn came to never having this opportunity. Earlier this year, her tumor was enormous and growing rapidly. We sought help from multiple surgeons—including at prestigious institutions. We were told further surgery was too risky. We were offered the same old options: chemotherapy and photon radiation that would affect most of her brain, given the size of her tumor. Her tumor is MGMT-unmethylated, so for Braelyn, chemo was all risk with little to no benefit. And then a stranger I met here on X changed everything. @ThomasOwenMcCa1 connected us with Dr. Liau. After reviewing Braelyn’s case, one of the first things she said was: “This girl needs surgery right away.” I told her we knew that. We just couldn’t find anyone willing to do it. I asked if SHE would. “If you can get her to me, I will do her surgery.” We got Braelyn to UCLA. Within two weeks, Dr. Liau operated and removed ~90% of a massive tumor spanning three lobes, stopping where continuing would risk critical structures. And this time, her tumor tissue was PROPERLY PRESERVED. That tissue was ultimately sent to England and used to manufacture Braelyn’s personalized DCVax vaccine. She has now received 3 induction doses + her first booster. And today? The tumor that Dr. Liau had to leave behind is no longer visible on MRI. Think about that. And then think about what could have happened if we had simply accepted “there’s nothing else we can do.” THIS is why I will not stop advocating for reform. Patients should not have to find potentially life-saving treatment options accidentally through strangers on social media. Patients should be told about legitimate investigational options when standard treatment offers little hope. Patients undergoing tumor surgery should be informed BEFORE surgery about preservation of tissue that could potentially be used for personalized treatments. And patients should have the right to make informed decisions about which risks they are willing to take. Promising science means very little if the patients who need it cannot access it. Braelyn is living proof of why access matters. Tonight, though, advocacy can wait for just a moment. Tonight I’m her mom. And I finally get to say the words I have begged God to someday let me say: NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE. Thank You, God. Thank you, Dr. Liau. Thank you to everyone who opened a door, donated, shared her story, fought for her and prayed for our girl. There is always light, even in the darkest places. Tonight that light is shining incredibly bright. ❤️🙏 #DCVaxForBraelyn #CureNotCovered @greta @kshaughnessy2 @andrewcaravello

We must continue the social media pressure to force the "powers to be" to recognize what DCVax-L has to offer to GBM patients....and their right to access it. Thank you Dr. C!
FDA has responded to my $NWBO #DCVax proposal. Today, the Rare Disease Innovation Hub confirmed that my submission "has been received and will be routed to the appropriate centers for consideration." I submitted a 21-page proposal advocating for DCVax-L and DCVax-Direct under the Rare Disease Framework, beginning with rare cancers. The future I am advocating is a system built to handle personalization from the start. DCVax-L uses a patient's tumor material to load their dendritic cells. DCVax-Direct places prepared dendritic cells into a tumor to acquire tumor material there. Each program has its own evidence requirements. Both make the same larger question impossible to ignore: how do we evaluate a treatment whose patient-specific inputs are supposed to vary? The framework should distinguish intentional personalization from manufacturing inconsistency. Define what must remain reliable, what changes with each patient, and how those differences affect safety and benefit. That distinction can shape the next generation of cancer treatment: 1. Preserve options before surgery. Plan consent, diagnostic allocation, tissue handling and storage while suitable material is still available. 2. Build on what has been learned. State which clinical and manufacturing evidence can be reused, where new evidence is essential, and how to test applications across rare cancer types. 3. Make every study answer a clear question. Connect mechanism, measured biological activity and meaningful patient outcomes. Use external controls and Bayesian methods when their assumptions can be justified and tested. 4. Plan for continuing care. Identify who is responsible for supply, qualified treatment sites, lawful access and financing. Beginning treatment and being able to continue it belong in the same plan. These are my recommendations as an independent physician and patient advocate. I do not speak for Northwest Biotherapeutics. FDA's reply gives us a clear next step: keep the evidence and patient experience in front of the people building this framework. Families can explain where the current system breaks down and what a workable path must provide. The measure of progress will be a family that knows what comes next, who is responsible, and how to reach them while there is still time. $NWBO Another glioblastoma patient who needs DCVax ASAP and having to travel to the UK to get the American made vaccine!! @FDA This should not be happening! My body my choice! Right to try! Patients don't have the luxury of time and money for this! #GBM @DrOz @realDonaldTrump
Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the FDA’s Rare Disease Framework Initiative public meeting. I had brain surgery for recurrent Glioblastoma (GBM) just a few weeks ago, but I flew to Maryland for this meeting because this new framework has the potential to change the future of GBM. I’ve fought this disease for 4.5 years, using every tool available. But my best chance now, at recurrence, is a treatment that is currently only accessible in the UK, a personalized cancer vaccine called DCVaxL. I made sure to freeze my tumor tissue specifically so I could have a chance at getting this vaccine. I should find out within the next week or two whether my tissue sample is adequate for vaccine manufacturing. More details to come. @HollensbeAmanda @LoriMills4CA42 @andrewcaravello @intrstedobservr

$NWBO The FDA can stop searching for another treatment for brain tumors. It should already have the data showing that DCVax-L is the best option available. Approve it, so more lives can be saved. Just a reminder. The MHRA has already fallen behind, after monitoring DCVax-L through the UK Specials program for more than 14 years. If the FDA had held its Public Meeting on the Rare Disease Drug Development Framework before the MOU, it would have looked proactive. Coming after, it looks reactive. youtu.be/6kFkeH6eW0c?t=8064 nitter.cf/d_stock07734/status/19…

A 21-page proposal with 52 cited sources, filed to the public docket for FDA’s 𝗥𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 and sent to the Rare Disease Innovation Hub with a one-page summary. Both are in the images. My advocacy is specific: 𝗗𝗖𝗩𝗮𝘅-𝗟 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗖𝗩𝗮𝘅-𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁, beginning with rare cancers. I submitted this in my personal capacity as a physician and patient advocate. I am not affiliated with Northwest Biotherapeutics and do not speak for the company. The ask: one published development example connecting three plans, the evidence, the tissue and manufacturing, and the patient’s route to care, so that a patient can begin treatment 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝘁. I asked FDA to name a coordinating office, publish a workplan within 90 days of the comment period closing, and include patients before key decisions are fixed. One distinction runs through the whole proposal: more analyses of the same patients are not independent evidence. FDA is inviting patients and advocates to shape this framework now, while it is still being designed. Behind every question about evidence, tissue or access is a family trying to keep someone alive. My "someone" is my daughter. She is the mother of 2 boys, 1 yr and 3yrs old. The logistics and finances it would take to get her to the UK are nearly insurmountable. Please. I don't want to lose my precious daughter when she should have access to DCVax through Right to Try right here in the US. @POTUS @RobertKennedyJr $NWBO
