Walt was just trying to do his job stocking Red Baron pizzas and get home to his four kids when an influencer decided to harass him for views. Hardworking Americans shouldn’t have to worry about being filmed and mocked while they’re grinding to pay the mortgage and provide for their families.
I stand with Walt and every parent who shows up to get the job done.
If you want to help Walt, you can contribute to his GoFundMe here:

Calling people “barbarians” for political disagreements is a tactic to divide people, not lead them. Public workers deserve union leaders who focus on pay and working conditions instead of provoking conflict.

The Chicago Teachers Union rakes in $40 million a year in teacher dues, yet spends less than 20% of that on actual representation, according to a new Illinois Policy Institute report.
Instead, the bulk goes to politics and perks like nearly $10,000 on headshots.
The Chicago Teachers Union takes $40 MILLION a year from teachers who pay $1,500 each and spends almost none of it on representing them. These unions exist to fund politics and perks for the bosses, not the people who actually teach.

These unions do not represent the teachers who pay $1,500 a year. They represent themselves. Teachers who are furious should go to OptOutToday.com and opt out.

A teachers' union that hosts praise for the October 7 attacks while canceling a documentary about the atrocities that day has made its priorities clear. That is not what most teachers signed up for.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard wrote a letter to U.S. voters pushing them to cut off Israel and end the war in Iran, and a lot of it sounds exactly like the resolutions coming from teachers' unions.
While teachers in Iran get locked up for demanding fair pay, union leaders here are spending members’ dues echoing Tehran’s talking points instead of focusing on classrooms where scores keep falling.

Eight California university workers followed the Teamsters Local 2010 rules and submitted their resignations, yet the union kept taking dues from their paychecks anyway. These workers did everything right, and the union still trapped them with a narrow, once-every-five-years escape window that most people will never even know about.

Public-sector unions have a built-in incentive to grow government and raise taxes, and the Yale Political Union agreed with that argument 35-25. It was refreshing to have an actual debate where people listened instead of shutting the conversation down.

Teachers who leave their union are finding real professional support that actually helps them do their jobs: liability coverage and training free of political agendas.
Liability insurance. Professional development free of DEI and left-wing bias. TFA CEO @RyanWalters_ told @glennbeck on @BlazeTV what good teachers get when they leave the union and join TFA.
New York decided parents don’t need to see how schools are actually performing on AP exams, and the rankings took a nosedive for high-achieving schools like Success Academy as a result. When unions control the system, the first priority is protecting their power, not letting taxpayers and families see the results.

Schools exist to teach kids reading, writing, and math, not to spread political agendas. Teachers who want their classrooms back can start by opting out of the union and keeping more of their own paycheck.
Schools should be educating kids, not pushing agendas. Take back public education by opting out of your union.

Idaho just stopped using the state as a debt collector for the teachers' union, which means more money stays in teachers’ paychecks and less flows into the big union machine.
Another successful Freedom Foundation endeavor has resulted in taxpayer funding being but from teachers’ unions in Idaho.
After House Bill 516 took effect on July 1, the Idaho Education Association (IEA) was forced to re-evaluate their budget now that the state will no longer operate as a debt-collector and will be cutting about 13% of its staff and closing all regional offices outside of Boise.
Another win for protecting teachers’ paychecks and stopping the taxpayer slush fund into unions. 🔥

Here’s an idea: teach kids to be literate, not activists.
