A mother just walked out of a North Carolina police department and said this:
Her son, Aamari โShawnโ Eubanks, vanished Dec. 4, 2024 on a short drive to pick up his grandmotherโs mail.
The next day they found the car in the woods. Window smashed. Blood everywhere. No Shawn.
She says 20 months later:
โข The detective forwards calls her to voicemail
โข The SBI agent on the case is a former Burlington officer who wonโt call her back
โข They told her if she keeps looking into it, theyโll arrest her and that he isnโt even entered in THEIR missing persons database.
A blood-soaked car is not a closed case. A mother asking where her son is. This is not a crime.

Freddie Gibbs and Trae Tha Truth are bringing attention to the ongoing crisis in Gary, Ind., after severe storms left parts of the city dealing with widespread damage and prolonged power outages.
Gibbs, a Gary native, spoke with MS NOW on the conditions in his hometown, saying the predominantly Black city has historically been overlooked and that itโs unfortunate it takes a crisis of this magnitude for Gary to receive national attention.
Trae Tha Truth has been on the ground assisting residents directly through his Relief Gang organization. Along with distributing food, cleaning supplies and other necessities to families in need, Trae and his team have been helping remove fallen trees from homes and streets as the community continues to recover from the storm.

Imagine being forced to give someone 6.2% of your paycheck, every single check, every month, for 30 to 50 years of your life.
And that person said, "Don't worry, I'm holding this for you and will pay it back to you on a monthly basis, when you retire at 65."
And then they said, "Nah, just kidding. I meant when you retire at 67. And at that time, I'll only give you 70% of what you paid me."
And then they said, "Oops, I spent all your money. You're out of luck."
