Patrick was one of those icons who we somehow all took for granted would always be with us.
I grew up as a fan, and was later gifted the privilege of becoming a colleague and friend, working with him for many years on “American Dad!”, “Family Guy”, and “Ted”. He was that rare actor who could take any bit of dialogue and elevate it, making a good writer sound great, and a great writer sound masterful. He was also as humble as they come. I remember exchanging emails with him a number of years ago when he was beginning day 1 of a new film. He commented to me that he always walked onto a new set feeling like the biggest novice there. My stunned reaction was the same as anyone’s would be. I said, “Patrick, if you feel that way, the rest of us are screwed.” We have lost a legendary actor today, and for many of us, a good friend. He will be deeply missed by the entire planet.

FUN FACT: It’s pronounced “Numbuh” in KND because of Patrick Stewart in Star Trek: The New Generation. Safe travels to your final frontier, Captain.

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

Today I am making this heartbreaking announcement with tears in my eyes and a pain I can no longer hide 💔😭 Hunger is consuming me and my siblings and I have reached the end of my strength. I feel ashamed to speak about hunger and beg for a bite of food but I have no choice anymore. After my family was martyred and I was injured I became the only support my siblings have but today I can barely provide our most basic needs. I am taking my medication without food and my injured body can no longer bear this suffering. Please hear my voice before my strength runs out completely. I am not asking for luxury. I am begging for a little food to help me endure my treatment and protect my siblings from hunger. Please save my life and the lives of my siblings 💔😭 Do not leave us to face starvation alone. We have no one to turn to after losing our family. Your kindness and support could be our only hope😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭chuffed.org/project/175632-r…

Situation for Maha is so bad right now and there’s no support at all.
Landlord is evicting them, and they have to leave by Saturday, while also paying the $300 rent that was due for October, and the wicked landlord even slapped her little daughter Habiba on the face.
Maha hasn’t been able to get treatment on her hand. The entire family is malnourished.
There’s no help for them at all. I don’t have any money that I can send her.

Still a chance to save Maha’s hand and her fingers, thank God
It does require raising $1450 as quickly as we can.
Not sure how I’m going to manage because I have to raise so much for so many people at the same time. But praying to God for a miracle.
And asking for help from all of you.
