NBA Teams have opponents. They have scheduled flights, hotels, etc. Fans also have tickets…
The Hawks and Dream have zero affiliation besides both being based in Atlanta, nor are they part of the same ownership. People who dont even care about the WNBA/NBA are getting upset at the Hawks like its their decision. 😂
Unless you're going to have the WNBA or Hawks game at noon on a Thursday, I think the only option would be Hawks game getting rescheduled - most likely just move back a day to 10/30. It creates a 2-city B2B for both Hawks and Cavs but nothing cross country so potentially doable

The Atlanta Dream and Atlanta Hawks are two separate businesses with different ownership. The Dream have no affiliation with the Hawks, so why would they sacrifice a profitable night of business to accommodate another organization’s playoff schedule? The Hawks have their own obligations, and the Dream have theirs. An NBA arena isn’t automatically available to another franchise simply because they share a city. You’re confusing being in the same market with operating under the same business. Those are two very different things.

I understand this is the Internet and you can just get on here and say stuff. But with all due respect, if you think an NBA team is going to just “move arenas” for their home opener, screw over ticket holders, create days worth of unnecessary work for their staff and lose out on millions of dollars to accommodate a team they don’t own, you don’t really know how anything works.

People seem to have just discovered and are very upset about the fact that the Atlanta Dream play in a tiny gym. This isn’t a new thing.
FWIW Braves postseason pitching situation feels a lot like it did going into 2021 which was basically Fried/Morton/Anderson a bunch ?s and then the night shift. And before you point to the bats, I'll remind you that we scored an avg of 4 runs/game in that WS run.

The only outcome I want is the Padres and Diamondbacks finishing the season playing each other for a win and in scenerio.
The winner would have to fly into Truist with their rotation and bullpen out of whack and face Chris Sale and Tyler Mahle.
