I want to introduce 𐌉𐌃𐌋𐌄 𐌋𐌉𐌍𐌊𐌔
One thing we’ve learned from our users is how quickly a simple task becomes a second job for the organizer.
Collecting $20 for your pickup league turns into a spreadsheet and chasing people. Selling something means a dozen DMs. Picking a date means scrolling through everyone’s availability. People don’t want 20 apps for 20 small things. They want a shareable link that does the job.
You’d think AI would help, but a personal assistant is different from wrangling people. And vibe-coding an app is a lot for these tasks.
With Idle links, just say what you need and get a working link in seconds, ready to drop straight into your chats.
People can pay, buy, sign up, or vote. No app to download, no agents required.
Idle tracks who’s done what and can text you updates so you don’t have to piece it all together. Keep easy jobs easy, available today!

Love what they are doing.
However, I WISH WordPress had some design-backing. WordPress is renowned for bad design and it doesn't have to be.
WordPress loves to push mediocre design.
The attached is literally just AI-design.
No wonder we alienate most designers from using WordPress.

Must-read for today.
I might be in a bubble, but this is the most important work we need in WordPress core right now:

No, WebMCP isn't replacing MCP.
MCP connects agents to your services.
WebMCP connects agents to your website while it's open and the user's in the loop.
Here's how they fit together ⤵️

I wanted to visualise Britain's state spending ahead of the Budget, so I've vibe coded an app which presents it as a disk drive.
Take a look at the tradeoffs and see if you can make the budget fit:

Am I being dumb or is @cursor_ai the only company on earth to not pro-rata annual plan upgrades.
Upgrade twice in a year and you've for 3 plans running along side each other.
Any reason to not upgrade from @cursor LEGACY plan? Hitting limits which I've never hit in 2+ years and BYO key doesn't seem to work as expected to bypass limit.
At 14:00 UTC two critical security vulnerabilities will be patched in PHP.
These are extremely serious vulnerabilities affecting every PHP application on the web.
Laravel Cloud customers: we will begin automatically patching your applications as soon as the patch is released. No manual action is required.
Laravel Forge customers: you will need to manually update your server’s PHP version via the server’s Forge dashboard. If you are unable to update your server, it should be powered down.
Laravel Vapor customers: we will begin automatically re-deploying applications running on PHP 8 as soon as the patch is released. No patch is being released for PHP 7 -- immediately update all applications to PHP 8.
No better time for this.

Someone PLEASE make cold-start-WordPress.
It's the only thing that will save it.
I don't want CMS.mydomain.com. Just give me a random URL. It's just CMS entry.
LLM's constantly ask, where do I want to host WordPress. I don't. I want to use it as a CMS, I don't care for it's infra as the site will be built in Astro or static.

Did we really need this div @wp_acf ?
Killed tons of CSS selectors ( > ) and I'm missing the need for it?
