It might be unfair, but the reality is that the characteristics that map onto highly promiscuous men make them highly desirable: charming, confident, attractive, intelligent, witty, successful, and so on.
Granted, a man with these characteristics who chooses not to be promiscuous is going to be perceived as the most valuable of men.
Whereas the trait that maps onto promiscuous women, or is necessary for promiscuity, is simply willingness.
So either women have to treat male promiscuity as a real negative that outweighs those traits, or men with those traits will keep being rewarded for not choosing exclusivity.
Fair, unfair, sex differences… it doesn’t matter. It’s just reality. Better to lay out the facts so the issue can be addressed.
This is something that you will hear a lot from women. They complain about how only women are shamed for being promiscuous while men that do the same are not.
First of all, these women do not actually think there’s anything wrong with sleeping around. They just don’t like that women specifically get more shame for it than men. If no one was shamed they would love it.
Second of all, women create this double standard, yes. Ignore all the virtue signaling from most women that say they are grossed out by manwhores. Place a hot manwhore in front of them that wants them and all the “grossness” will disappear from their bodies. (These aren’t virginal women that complain about the double standard btw.)
The reality is that women simply do not find sexual immorality in general appalling. They think it’s ok when women do it, they think it’s ok when men do it (hence why they use incel as an insult for men, they hate men that aren’t being sexually immoral). The slut shaming tends to come from men and a minority of women. But who is shaming the minority of promiscuous men that are running through most women? No one.
And so the double standard is born. Mind you, women benefit from double standards all the time. They just don’t like double standards that don’t benefit them.
