It seems timely to share this crib sheet about Celeborn, which I put together in 2024 just before Rings of Power season 2
It's going to be very interesting to see how trop will introduce him, since they've kept well away from most of Tolkien's versions of his life!

Season 3 features an ethereal new song from Bear McCreary and AURORA - “Morning Shall Come.” Get an early look and listen now, and stand ready for the full single releasing tomorrow.

Because according to Unfinished Tales, once they were embodied, the Istari did not retain their memory of Valinor, so Gandalf does not remember being Olorin. The show is actually aligning with Tolkien and isn’t diminishing Gandalf, but accurately representing Tolkien’s depiction
This is so lovely. Every cast interview ever about anything should be like this 🥰
🎥: It's a battle of... compliments!

This is insightful (and genuinely moving)
Non-Haladriels don't be afraid to watch. It's a good thing cunningly made
Look at these things of beauty #RingsOfPower
ALT Covers of the steelbook editions of the TV series Rings of Power. Season 1 features Galadriel, a golden-haired elf in a blue pre-Raphaelite style dress, armed with a sword. Season 2's cover is the golden-haired version of Sauron (Annatar) contemplating the crown of Morgoth (or at least, the crown cut down to his size)

Barahir and his men were hunted like wild beasts; and they retreated to the barren highland above the forest, and wandered among the tarns and rocky moors of that region, furthest from the spies and spells of Morgoth. Their bed was the heather and their roof the cloudy sky.

Please join me in welcoming Amber Mendez-Martin (Gerda) and Lee Braithwaite (Gamli) to The Rings of Power family! 👏 #TheRingsofPower
Charlie Vickers' wonky head 🤣
Still - having someone bring out a blowtorch to fix a prop that's *on your head* ? That's literally metal !
(They took it off his head first)
If anybody knows how to apply for tickets to the London premiere of Rings of Power, hit me up please 🙏
Or any influencers with a plus one? ❤️🩷💛💚💙

Earlier today, we detected evidence of a security incident on #AO3. We are still in the early stages of investigating. No AO3 data has been deleted. All your works, bookmarks, kudos, etc., are safe. Learn more at otwstatus.org/incidents/g12j…
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/
