When can we meet so that our team can show you the storage cavern solution that would help to avoid this type of huge differential spread?
We are about to start pre-washout validation drilling, coring, flow & injection testing soon.
Had this been done 7 yrs ago, AB w/b +$20B!
Not just in Sarnia @KnightLegg
Position reserves in places that have railway and excess pipeline capacity. That way you can store both oil & refined fuels for emergency needs.
Best place is north of Lac La Biche. Massive salt zones. Lowest cost + ideal for partial upgrading.
A national strategic energy reserve
- supplied by Alberta into Ontario would give Canada leverage against supply disruptions and price shocks.
- a Northern Shield pipeline from Hardisty to Sarnia (which has the perfect salt cave formations for a strategic reserve) would strengthen national energy infrastructure, support refining in Canada, and enhance sovereign control and energy security.

My April 2015 Meme warning Albertans about AB NDP unfortunately still holds true today.
NDP =
No Damn Pipelines
No Damn Powerplants
No Damn Petroleum
No Damn Profits
All leading to
No Damn Paychecks!
Over 11 years later, the NDP still don't understand what's best for Alberta.

🚨BREAKING
The federal NDP and Avi Lewis @avilewis just released a statement opposing the new pacific link pipeline and demanding it be halted. They oppose Alberta's Pacific Link pipeline and they will do everything in their power to kill it.
Understand what this means... This would kill 140,000 jobs. Stop tens of billions in new wealth for Albertans to build things like hospitals and schools. Lost jobs and lower paycheques for Alberta families.
Today I am calling on Naheed Nenshi @nenshi to do what he should have done a long time ago. Cut ties with his boss, Avi Lewis and the federal NDP. Officially, formally, in writing today. A clean break, right down to the name of their party.
Not doing so tells Albertans all they need to know about where the NDP stands on Alberta energy… which is “leave it in the ground”.

We should meet @KnightLegg
Any national reserve plan should include Alberta and multi-modal delivery systems. I'd be happy to show you what we've been developing to help reduce Eastern Canadian dependence on imports.
Low cost, efficient & integrated. Let's meet.

Take a closer look Peter. Alignment with the EU accelerates PM @MarkJCarney's plan to impose the BCA/CBAM Carbon Taxes on imports, effectively ensuring that Canadians are paying huge CTaxes on everything they buy.
Destruction of our USA Trade relationship far beyond just Trump
