Bill O’Reilly just put Pope Leo on the spot with the one question no one in the media will ask him.
And with it, he completely exposed the Pope’s double standard in the feud with President Trump.
O’REILLY: “I could mediate a settlement between the Pope and Donald Trump, I could do it.”
“But in such a mediation I would have to ask his holiness very frankly…you had 30,000 people gunned down in Iran just a few weeks ago, we heard nothing from the Vatican on that at all.”
“NOTHING!”
“You have a terror, a government, close to a nuclear weapon.”
“Is it acceptable for the Catholic church to look away from that?”
“As you know, I wrote Confronting Evil, and the theme of the book is that these heinous individuals, they gain power by people looking away.”
“By people not wanting to pay the price, as you put it, for gasoline or food.”
“That’s how they get power.”
“How would you think that Pope Leo would answer that question? Very simple question.”
“Is the Catholic church okay with the mullahs having a nuclear weapon?”
“Your holiness, yes or no?”
“I’m a Catholic, I’d like to know the answer.”
“The Pope will never address that.”
“And that frustrates Donald Trump because the Pope is also an open border guy.”

CBC's reporting is now just intentionally false and misleading
Raffy Boudjiknian asked Pierre Poilievre a question in the scrum today... and later in his CBC explainer instead of showing viewers Poilievre's answer, he said "Now, he said the first thing he would do is get rid of liberal policies on gas taxes."
That's not even close to what Poilievre said. Watch.
What he said is he would "unblock our own energy."
"I would eliminate liberal laws like C-69 that keep oil in the ground."
"I would remove the shipping ban off the northwest coast of BC"
"I'd end the liberal industrial carbon tax."
"I would move to six month permitting."
"And I would make my goal would be to massively increase production and shipping of Canadian oil and gas."
"I'd also bring in an energy and minerals reserve so that when these kinds of crises strike, Canadians can sell our oil on the world market to reduce prices for consumers at the same time as we profit from the high prices that foreign economies are paying."
Raffy has a serious problem with being truthful. This isn't the first time
CBC advertises itself as the protector FROM misinformation when it is one of the biggest speaders OF misinformation @CBCraffy @brodiefenlon @PierrePoilievre

I will never get back those precious days with my newborn baby.
Because of Mueller and his thugs, I was relentlessly attacked in the media and received death threats.
They falsely portrayed me as a Russian spy who had an affair with a senior Trump advisor, so they could “investigate” President Trump. It was all part of their plot to impeach and remove him from office.
The attacks and threats were relentless.
On the advice of the Metropolitan Police, my husband and I had to put our baby things into storage and go into hiding.
I was already suffering serious health problems from childbirth after extreme bleeding. The stress made everything far worse. I was weeping constantly while trying to hold the baby. I already lost my job because of the false allegations. I had recurrent nightmares that the FBI would come and take me away, leaving no one able to feed her, as she was breastfed.
Mueller was never held accountable for what he did — at least not on this Earth.

🚨In Mark Carney’s speech in Davos, we heard him promote respect for international rules of law and global norms while doing the opposite here in Canada.
Right now, through the Budget Implementation Act, Mark Carney has proposed giving Cabinet Ministers the authority to exempt any individual, business, or organization from almost any federal law or regulation, with the sole exception of the Criminal Code and with very few meaningful limits.
That alone should shock Canadians, but it gets worse.
Under this proposal, a minister would be allowed to keep secret any information about those exemptions that the minister personally decides would be “inappropriate” to make public.
So let’s be clear about what this means.
We are told to respect the rule of law internationally while, at home, the Liberal government seeks the power to secretly decide who must follow the law, and who does not.
That is an extraordinary level of double talk.
And as a former banker, I find it equally troubling that Mark Carney is deliberately playing with the definition of “capital investment,” breaking from long-standing international financial standards, in order to deceive Canadians about the true size of the operating deficit.
You cannot preach respect for international rules and standards abroad while undermining them at home.
So the questions are simple:
Will he respect the rule of law in Canada and retract the proposal that allows Cabinet ministers to secretly exempt entities from almost any federal law?
Will he respect international financial standards in our own public accounts and stop hiding the true deficit from Canadians?

There's just one problem. It also has the most subversively horrifying subtext by a Western world leader who is not Trump that I've read in a very long time. Carney's (or his speechwriter's) choice of Havel’s “lie” metaphor is rhetorically dangerous: it blurs the difference between democratic hypocrisy and totalitarian coercion, and it invites the interpretation that liberal order itself has been a quasi-ideological fraud, which for all its many flaws, it has not been.
For example, Canada was not coerced into the LRBIO in the way Havel's shopkeepers were coerced into communist conformity. It's a problematic parallel. And there are more of them.
I'm still thinking about this. It's a powerful speech but has some dangerous undercurrents... a lot depends on what is meant...

The people of Iran outsmarted the Islamic Republic:
The regime cut the lights and electricity in the major streets of Tehran to prevent the greatness of the protesters' crowd from being shown and to make it difficult for people to document their unity. But the brave Iranians turned on the flashlights of their cell phones and created an even more epic scene of unity. 🦁🌞🫡

Sentiments of Venezuelans
I’m going to say this once, and I don’t care if it makes people uncomfortable.
If you have never lived in Venezuela
If you did not grow up there
If you did not watch your country collapse in real time
If you did not stand in food lines
If you did not watch your parents lose everything they built
If you did not have to leave your home with nothing
Then shut the fuck up.
You do not have an opinion.
Your opinion does not matter.
And you don’t get to lecture anyone about what’s happening there.
I’m Venezuelan.
I lived there most of my life until my early twenties.
I watched my country go from a functioning democracy to full blown socialism right in front of my eyes.
This is not politics to me.
This is trauma.
Before socialism, Venezuela was not perfect, but it worked.
There was trade.
There was money coming in.
There was investment from the US.
There were jobs.
There was food.
There was medicine.
My family had five businesses.
We had our home
We had investments.
We had a future.
Then the government started nationalizing everything.
Private companies were taken.
Foreign investors were pushed out.
Imports were blocked.
Price controls destroyed production.
Corruption exploded.
And everything died.
Not slowly.
Violently.
People didn’t suddenly become poor because of “capitalism” or “the US” or whatever bullshit slogan people like to repeat online.
They became poor because socialism destroyed incentives, destroyed production, destroyed trust, and destroyed hope.
People today in Venezuela are not debating ideology.
They are trying to survive.
They are trying to find food.
Trying to find medication.
Trying to keep their families alive.
So when I see people in the West posting from comfortable homes, full fridges, stable currencies, and safe streets talking about “imperialism” or “US bad” or “Trump this or that”
No.
It’s not complicated.
You’re just ignorant.
China is not rebuilding Venezuela.
Russia is not rebuilding Venezuela.
Cartels are not rebuilding Venezuela.
They are stealing.
They are extracting.
They are draining what’s left.
If the US comes in and reinvests
If refineries get rebuilt
If infrastructure gets restored
If imports open back up
If food, water, and medicine become accessible again
If people can work and earn with dignity
Then yes.
Let them take all the oil they want.
Because at least something gets built instead of destroyed.
This is something to celebrate.
Not because it’s perfect.
But because for the first time in a long time, there is hope.
Hope that families can eat.
Hope that people don’t have to flee their country.
Hope that Venezuela can function again.
If you’ve never lived through a country collapsing
If you’ve never watched socialism destroy everything around you
If you’ve never had to leave your home because staying meant starvation
Then again
Shut the fuck up.
This isn’t theory.
This isn’t politics.
This is lived experience.
