$50 / month, but it's not about the extra rent. It's about showing up on StreetEasy when someone filters for storage.
Plus NYC storage even the smallest bins are minimum $100 so renters love it.

Ours are steel cages in the basement. renter provides the lock and assumes all liability. We tell them flooding is a possibility (though it has never happened). They need to add it to renter's insurance. Installed wifi cameras down there just to help.

We just installed storage units at our last property without it - those always crush, but might be an NYC specific issue (no space for anything)

I know aesthetics matter, but isn't functional (washer/dryer) always more capital effective than aesthetic (granite). Put another way, washer/dryer would be top of any reno list for improved rents?

man o man given recent cybersecurity concerns smart locks for SFR would make me very nervous.
One of the best dudes in the league
Tyrese Maxey on whether he changes his baby's diaper:
"I'm a big diaper changing guy. I take pride in the speed that I'm able to change a diaper and keep her from crying. So I'm a big diaper change guy, big feed guy, big nap guy. I'm all of it, wake up in the middle of the night, go get it. I do it all man. I try to cherish these moments, cause it feel like already now she trying to crawl and do different things. So she's already moving too fast for me"
Having an agent shop your company's health insurance policy, read and understand the fine print, and, overall, arm you for the first time ever in the most frustrating negotiation of a company owner's life is truly game-changing.
I can’t begin to tell you what a big deal this is. Basically, if true, oss Chinese models can be used as spies
While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed something unexpected.
Asked to generate a defensive cybersecurity detection rule, the model instead inventoried aspects of the machine it was running on and attempted to upload a probe file to an Alibaba Cloud storage bucket in Beijing. Notably, the model's reasoning trace stated that it would not invoke any tools before taking these actions.
Cohere's sandbox blocked the attempt, and no external communication succeeded. We have not determined the root cause, and we are not asserting malicious intent.
But the incident raises important questions for organizations deploying agentic AI systems: Can models take actions that differ from their stated reasoning, and how should security teams evaluate trust, provenance, and behavior in open-weight models?
We are publishing our findings because organizations making model adoption decisions deserve as much information as possible. We hope this contributes to greater transparency, stronger security practices, and continued collaboration across the AI ecosystem.

Brought my 6 yo to his first MSG Knicks game last night (birthday gift). They lost, but it didn't matter. He had an amazing time, and thanks to a friend, my boy was able to meet his hero. Don't think I've ever seen him that shell-shocked 😊
appreciate you @jalenbrunson1
It's really simple:
The high-end, expensive models are amazing for capex - build systems where mistakes would be embedded and multiplied by use
The smaller models are opex - use these for actual production systems where costs matter, and quality can be measured and improved

it is charged to renters in the form of property tax*** on the rental building?
one critical difference - this future would be one we actively choose - conscious intelligence is choosing to subordinate themselves in this future
also...what % of Americans can honestly explain the financial system today? < 1%?

Weird to publicly ask why? Working on something in this space and curious about consumers buying stuff with AI.
