I have officially made it to the cafe slash tire repair shop on the highway in Panfyly, where I ordered borscht and varenyky.
After walking through the rain, I cannot explain how excited I am for a hot meal before continuing the rest of today’s journey.
This is the first day since I started walking that I have seen any real cooling weather or water falling from the sky, and right now, I am incredibly grateful for it.
Foreshadowing…
More than anything, I am grateful for every person following this journey, sharing it, supporting my soldiers, and donating to help us rebuild the positions being defended and destroyed at this very moment.
While I am walking, my soldiers are still holding the line. Every donation helps us replace what is being lost and gives the next men going into those positions a better chance of coming home.
