I went to a kebab shop that has sponsored 7 skilled worker visas. What skills do you need to work in a kebab shop that requires you to import people into Britain?

The cleric was assassinated by an Islamist extremist. Funny how BBC News don’t add that into their headline…

Canada operated a similar scheme. When it was extended to Winnipeg, 7,000 applications were received - every single one was a family member of someone already resident in Canada. This will be widely abused as a form of chain family migration.

If you don’t like pubs, drinking, or the thought of your kids indulging in British culture, it’s generally not a good idea to live in Britain.

It looks like yet another loophole for low-skilled migrants. Why would we accept refugees from any of these countries when many host refugees themselves? None of them are engaged in a serious war. All of them have citizens who come to Britain on work visas…
The refugee sponsorship route will initially apply to refugees in the countries below. There are over 4 million registered refugees in these countries - including 853k Afghans, 375k Somalians, and 83k Syrians. The Home Secretary is yet to put a cap on how many could arrive.

I give it less than 12 months before this disastrous policy has serious ramifications. Shabana Mahmood will have to take full responsibility for any severe consequences, it is her new flagship policy after all.

NEW: British families face the weakest growth in incomes since records began, economists have warned - IFS No commitment to cutting benefits by Burnham and Healey rules out ‘crude’ cuts to welfare. Young Brits will be paying the debt for successive govt failures for decades.

Mr Kumar & a group of other wealthy Oxford Phd students went on a campaign of accusing me of racism over ten years ago he had never met me but decided I was racist based on 2 articles I had written in the Guardian (you can still read them & judge for yourself). They ridiculed me bullied me on line for several years because of my class & that I was white & had a mixed race son referring to me as 'Becky' & because I had grown up on a council estate they laughed about me being rough, sexually promiscuous (Becky) & stupid all the white working class girl stereotypes. It is of no surprise that this man is now bullying a Jewish woman on television & is in fact responsible for the Greens racist turn.

All things that were said on air. The community note is very helpful, on the original post (not mine) as it is policy of Wetherspoons to allow poppies to be worn in the pub, they also raise about £80k selling them. We will update the audience when we get a further response on this specific matter.

I think you’ve entirely missed the point of what I was saying, if that’s your takeaway from the monologue Richard.

Thank you for your service to our country, Carl, you are the best of us and have my eternal gratitude. I’m genuinely distraught at the way I feel, it was a hard monologue to write but you all deserve my honesty, it’s the least I can offer. When I hear from veterans like yourself (far too many), I know that something’s has gone deeply wrong. We should all feel the call to fight, it should almost be a natural reaction. But, I at least believe, we have deeply lost our way. I hope to god one day all of us can once again say that this is worth us putting our lives on the line to fight and die for.
