Crypto sponsors are everywhere in F1 nowadays But let's look at some results from the past year.

1) Here's a brilliant pic to explain latest gen aero in Moto GP. Aero downforce is a vector from the devices CoP (centre of pressure) down, when a bike leans there are now both both downwards and outwards components to those vectors. With the 'wings' mostly pushing out #MotoAero

3)The seat device also helps balance the downforce produced, front to rear weight distribution is key, similarly with downforce, more is not al-ways better, adding some rear you can then add even more at the front for the same ‘balance’ #MotoAero

2)This outwards forces increases the force tyres must overcome to turn the bike (green). The latest devices, on seat unit and belly pan are specifically designed to generate downwards force at high lean angles, increasing grip at the apex rather than a straight line. #MotoAero

I know everything has gone up recently but back in 2001 you could buy advertising space on the side of Casey Stoner's British Championship RS125 Honda for the price of a crash helmet and a set of leathers.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!”

Couldn’t have summed up Chrissy any better. ❤️
Struggled to articulate my feelings but I think this tribute by @matt77roberts beautifully sums up what @ChrissyRouse meant to us all… “His enduring legacy as a true gentlemen and friend to anybody fortunate to have met him” 💔 #ChrissyRouse #69

Aprillia running a Pitot in GP testing, this measures the air speed to accurately understand the effective speed of the bike to better measure aero. Note the tube should be aligned to the airflow indicating how upwashing the air actually is as it gets to the fairing #MotoAero
Seen on the @ApriliaOfficial @MotoGP bikes: a Pitot tube to measure relative airspeed. Common on cars, not on bikes. To prevent damage to this thin double-walled pipe during transport / in the pitbox, you see a protective white strip here.

Rossi running aero devices on his leathers this weekend, on the shoulders are a set of vortex generators, these re-energise air passing over his shoulders, helps flow remain attached over his back, plastic panels behind & lower with small VG's to smooth air flow also #MotoAero

What an embarrassing end to a great opportunity, we need to be better than this.

Anyone who has 'opinions are my own' in their bio is a douche, agree?

Interesting to see aero updates in @OfficialBSB! @McAMSYamaha are running a small carbon intake 'packer' they tested with/without and have raced since with. The effect is likely twofold, increased +pressure face area effectively gaining a bit of front load #MotoAero 1/2

Secondly it could be improving the condition of air in the duct. If the inlet is poorly aligned a low pressure (dark) region can created reducing mass flow into the airbox. An 'airdam packer' as shown with a long diffusion can improve this potentially gaining power 2/2 #MotoAero
