A HEARTFELT MESSAGE TO MY FELLOW BRITS.. ❤️ 🇬🇧 My name is Christian Drogan. I’ve lived in migrant camps. I’m the only British man to have travelled across the Channel in a migrant dinghy. And I am often told the same things. “You’re crazy.” “You’re mad.” “You’ve got some balls.” I’m here to tell you that none of that is true. I’m just an ordinary working class bloke who cares deeply about his country and the people who live in it. The difference is that my experiences have made me acutely aware of some of the dangers and challenges we now face. The people I struggle to understand are those who can see and hear what is happening around them, yet still refuse to acknowledge it. Some people are simply uninformed. Some have never had reason to look beneath the surface. Others are busy living their lives, working, paying the bills and raising families. And when people tell me I’ve got balls, I often think about those fathers. Any man raising children today, trying to protect them, guide them and turn them into decent adults, faces an enormous responsibility. Because the challenges are everywhere. It isn’t simply about undocumented men arriving from foreign countries and walking our streets. It is about the wider environment children are growing up in: screen addiction, propaganda, malign ideologies, social pressure and ideas increasingly pushed into their lives from institutions and people with enormous influence. Those fathers are the ones who need the big bollocks. Because raising a good kid in this era, protecting them while preparing them for the world they will inherit, is going to require courage. I don’t say any of this to frighten people, and I don’t consider myself a pessimist. Nor have I ever considered myself an optimist. I’m a realist. That position is rarely discussed. Everything seems to be divided between optimism and pessimism, as though we must either believe everything will be fine or believe everything is doomed. There is another position in the middle. Look at what is actually happening. Accept what you see. Understand it. Then decide what you are going to do about it. Realism. I went from being a builder to investigating situations I could never have imagined myself entering. I’ve found myself in genuinely dangerous circumstances. I’ve been through experiences where my safety was far from guaranteed. I’ve also had to consider the possibility of legal action and lawfare while investigating across different European countries. Those experiences have changed me. My eyes are more open than they have ever been. And because I have had the opportunity to see things that most people will never see first hand, I increasingly feel a duty to share what I have learned and how those experiences have changed the way I see Britain and the world around us. I could write much more. I probably will. And I will continue trying to reply to as many messages as I possibly can, because I genuinely care about my countrymen and women. I love my country. And if there is one thing I want people to take from this, it is this: Never, ever stop loving your country. And more importantly, never allow anybody to make you feel ashamed for doing so. There is nothing shameful about patriotism. There is nothing shameful about loving your home, your culture, your people or the country you want your children to inherit.
