I went out last night for Halloween in London and the verdict is clear: talent isn’t there anymore - footfall is a fraction of what it used to be.
Over the past two years I did not go out as much but what I saw when I did was a clear degradation of the situation. Younger people stay at home or have house/flat parties.
I thought maybe I did not go at the right time, “it is the summer”, “oh there is this holiday”, “oh people have not got paid yet”, “maybe in the right places it is different”.
It is not, even in the most popular ones are getting cooked.
Spoke with a few bouncers I know, when people go out and they said people they may spend 2 glasses of alcohol per head at best.
I did not want to be doom and gloom, as I saw some glimpse of hope on Thursdays, but it is harder now.
Considering London’s economy is heavily reliant on the housing Ponzi scheme for the wealth effect and how it has been doing dog shit during that same aforementioned period, including the Labour government killing confidence…it makes sense.
Now when it comes to talent - feels like a crypto bear market - and you may think “well just go to the richer areas” - I did. Last night I went to a place well known for it - it used to be fully packed in late 2010s early 2020s - it was dead on Halloween night.
Bear in mind - well known footballers went there regularly - restaurant is doing fine but the bar section…crickets.
After last night, this was the confirmation of what I have been highly suspecting for the past two years.
There is a paywalling.
1) Middle Class in London is being stretched af and everything has to be optimised.
2) Tourists compensate for the gap. But even then it is dwindling. The working poor hover around on the streets.
3) Rich people have set-ups where they are abroad a lot of the time and go either to private members clubs or secluded events to avoid the riff raff and so are the hot chicks.
4) Everything is curated upstream through online funnels and private networks.
5) Venues are dying when it is not a money laundering operation, having to deal with higher energy costs, higher interest rates and business rates, ridiculous taxes, expensive leases and overpriced beverages reflecting the economic environment which is disincentivising customers of going there.

Some thoughts, some myth and some gynecentric social programming to review here.

Define loneliness - my worst, most “alone facing responsibilities” was being married to a Christian feminist from a Darbyist cultist family.
Currently I live with one primary “wife” together for 11 years and date locally and travel to see five other women I have established relationships with.

If I were to do it again, I’d have just bought the house for the kids but never gotten married or promised monogamy. It would have been easier and not married you have more rights to your kids “single” (one of the horrible things about the fraudulent marriage contract laws)

This is a myth - one of those boomerist myths that projects female decline onto male decline. Be fit and enjoy sexual intimacy with women and basically the lopsided dating market “flips” in favor of men.
It becomes an unending cornucopia. And the women that are low sex drive “remove themselves” from the dating market because they have lost their fertility leverage and now have to “prove” their worth for sexuality and intimacy.
Some men and women - particularly when unhealthy will lose desire for sex - with 7/10 overweight or obese population in the US it’s almost guaranteed. It’s not the desire or ability it’s the health.
I’m almost 60 myself (59) my sex drive keeps up with all of the “three a day” women I’ve found and collected. Desire for daily sex is common with healthy women 40+ a healthy older man can easily match that.
I’m always surprised by how many men hate dating and the hunt, but it isn’t the hunt that’s the problem it’s the willingness. There is a special excitement with seduction of a new unknown woman, like many seducers I find that a bit addictive.
Add to all that is a man 40+ dating women 30+ the “close rate” becomes astoundingly high. Sexual desire peak and fertility peak in women is completely separated.

I first experienced the magic of selling stuff in 2011 when I made my first ever sale online.
It was for software that I coded with my own hands.
Ever since then I've sold stuff.
Software. Ebooks. Even porn videos.
If you can't make money in your sleep, you're destined to be enslaved for life.
And you're also destined to be stuck wherever you are for the next 20-40 years, too.
So sell stuff.
That's my business advice.

There has been a marked decline in the power of the Western mind. The late 19th century imperialists were self-satisfied high racialists. Moderns are Boasian antiracists seemingly committed to universal human rights etc. But how do the two compare in their powers of comprehension?
Take the problem of understanding the power of the Houthis. A British imperialist from 1890 would have no trouble at all classifying them as 'a martial race'. Even if coded in racialist terms, there was a clear *recognition* of the anthropological variation in the world. They understood that the Gurkhas and the Pathans were not like the Baniyas and the Brahmins. That something distinguished the former from the latter. And that this anthropological variation had *operational significance* to the running of the empire. You could not get the Brahmin to hold the front any more than you get the Gurkha to understand Shakespeare.
Modern Westerners reject out of hand the very idea of systematic anthropological variation. Populations are only distinguished, if they are distinguished at all, by how free (Westernized) and unfree (traditional) they are. You have either thrown off the yoke of tradition and embraced the ideas of the Enlightenment. Or you live under the oppressive weight of misguided traditional ideas like not wanting your daughter to have the right to fuck whoever she wants, whenever she wants.
I do not mean here to suggest that the turn-of-the-century imperialists intuited the discoveries of midcentury social anthropology. Evans-Pritchard only wrote about the Nuer in 1940. I mean instead that the European imperialists *paid attention to the world*, instead of being lost in their own internal world. No doubt they had their own discourse of self-congratulation. But they knew that the world was strange and worthy of attention. That there was something about the world that they did not teach you at Eaton and Harrow, and that you had to learn in the field, so to speak. There was a certain empiricism in their attitude. A curiosity about the world.
To the modern West, there is no outside world worth paying attention to. All that exists is conformity or incongruence with Boasian antiracist universalism, ie the modern Enlightenment. The peoples of the world cannot be distinguished in any interesting way at all. The world is flat in an essential sense.
The Moderns are, strictly speaking, morons by the standards of the late 19th century.

My accountant is an older mormon guy, and he says a lot of the younger guys in the religion are completely jaded and disgusted with the women their age - they're getting flown out by rich guys to basically be railed on their boats. Meanwhile these rich guys are refusing to commit because they have so many options, and similarly do not feel like the women they can rent so easily are worth buying. This was a community that used to pair up very young even 20 years ago; accordingly now fewer than ever are getting married.
And that's just on the single guy front. Lots of stories as well of divorced women corrupting married ones in the temple; both encouraging them to leave their men AND showing them how to do it with maximum leverage. The tactics go all the way up to planting his semen on the kids clothes to frame him for pedophilia.
I honestly couldn't believe it, especially coming from that community. Mormons are in general one of the much more healthier groups in the country when it comes to traditional values. If it's that bad there, it gives you an idea of where things are at in secular America.
The bottom line is that there is an epidemic of poor character among women today, and it is entirely downstream of the boomer generation coddling them. Yes, there remain plenty of good women - but what used to be the norm is now becoming more the exception. Whoring around is a faustian bargain that seems to have no cost up front; but when payday comes it's steep. These women are wondering in their 30s why men don't want them; but the truth is that it's not just about their sexual past. The guys genuinely just don't like them: who they are, how they act, what they value. Many of these women developed shallow and crass personalities. They don't want to be around them, let alone build and sacrifice for them.
None of the elder generation however really understands any of this - just how much things have changed. Whenever I've spoken to seniors about the problems with men and women, why there's no pairing up & a demographic crisis, they immediately assume it's the men "not stepping up"; then I tell them about what average women are doing and their jaws drop. The fact that a woman could sleep with 10 different guys let alone 20 or 30 is crazy for them. And these women are hardly the worst offenders. It's out of control.
That's why I keep saying: dating is dying, and meeting people "in the commons" will decline this next decade as a way people meet each other. Trust is shot. There will be much more quasi-arranged marriages for Gen Alpha; in other words much more intermediation and vetting at least on the right. I know Gen X and millenial parents especially in the homeschool worlds are doing this as we speak. And that's only one layer of exclusivity; it will happen in various social settings and matchmaking apps.
Meanwhile the remaining women who want to have their freedom and have trashed their reputations will start to charge directly or indirectly for the time guys spend with them. We're already seeing this covert transactionality begin to become overt. They don't know how to be keepers anymore, and many of them have stopped trying.
Truly a wild world. But nature will find a way; it already is among the good faith and godly people, who are banding together to put barriers around the rot for their children. We will look back at this time not only as a speciation event, but a cautionary tale.

Because polygyny is simultaneously attractive and humbling for women. It requires them to admit things about their own makeup and desires that they don't like, because under feminism this desire for ultimate submission with a powerful man is framed as humiliating.
That's why they "like" having the sexual freedom to sleep with these high value guys, while maintaining control. On the surface it gives them their cake and allows them to eat it too.
But in reality, since those guys are not compelled to choose them (since modern women do not submit, and being exclusive means limiting their options), they feel hurt and rejected after their liaisons.
Don't get me wrong, obviously a woman's ideal is to be the only woman of the man they desire. It is the most validating form of love for them.
But without the economic and social compulsion to marry, few women nevertheless prefer to settle for a man who doesn't make them feel turned on and seen.
Now of course we can see that same economic buffer and social aversion also makes women refuse to choose polygyny at the moment. The default has been to just remain single.
But AI and the collapse of norms is going to rapidly change the social and economic landscape. Many of the well paid "email jobs" given to women now that have inflated their egos are going to disappear - they're easy to replace with Claude - and social stigma is going to be growing at the same time towards women without children; it will be a point of shame by the 2030s. All this will be happening alongside major general fears about being left alone amidst the rapid collapse of the commons and social atomization.
These trends are inevitable; the only question is the scale of how much polygyny fits into them. Candidly, I doubt it will ever be common - unless male authority is undisputed and the women love and trust each other, they are inherently unstable; moreover I still believe that monogamy inherently creates the highest consciousness relationships, because it forces the most self-confrontation. Most polygyny we will see is going to have a lot of transactional elements to it (or will indeed be entirely transactional); it's unlikely they will produce the same depth of love we see in traditional, polarized monogamy.
But because the trend is towards the transactional & sexual market maxxing - and soon to follow female collective ego death & the race to find tribes / meaning - there is every variable present for it to manifest. So it will. No one can say in good faith a woman choosing to be a man's second wife and bearing children and being cared for should be more shameful than her being alone, or indeed effectively prostituting herself out.
Whether the dynamic will last into the next generation after this crisis and genetic bottleneck passes is a different question. But we are not meant to stress about those times. We must confront the variables and challenges in front of us.

It’s a bit counterintuitive, as Poland is a socially conservative country with a booming economy.
But with economic progress often comes more women in the workforce, and fewer having children.
Poland’s rate is even lower than Japan’s (1.2), as well as the UK (1.4), Germany (1.4), and France (1.6).
