Kemi spent most of her response attacking the Tory welfare record.
A reminder that under their watch:
Neets up 250k between 2021 and 2024;
Welfare spending rose twice as fast as in this Parliament;
Millions signed off and written off on sickness and disability benefits.

As the Chief Whip I can't speak in the Chamber, so thank you to my friend the Minister Sally Jameson MP for raising Lisa's case for me today.
Lisa came to my surgery on Friday. She, like so many of you, has been badly let down by Capita's handling of the Civil Service Pension 🧵

The time for talk has long passed. This government is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to supporting women and girls.
We'll back practical action to confine misogyny to the history books - in public services, workplaces, and online.

What if we could heat our homes without relying on expensive gas?
Introducing… the Warm Homes Loan scheme

If you own your own home, then installing solar panels, batteries, and heat pumps are all great ways of lowering your energy bill - IF you can afford the upfront cost.
The Warm Homes Loan Scheme lowers the bar for households to be able to cut their own energy costs.
Thank you to all the tradies who shared their stories & spoke up. Your experiences showed why change is needed.

We are a nation of animal lovers - pigs are intelligent animals that deserve to be treated with care and respect throughout their lives including at slaughter.
The public want to know the meat they buy in the shops is produced in a way that supports high standards of animal welfare. These plans will help deliver that and reduce unnecessary suffering.
We are committed to supporting farmers and businesses make this transition which will bring long-term benefits👇🏻

That’s exactly what we’re doing: being boldly, confidently, authentically Labour.
