The Kennedy Center’s Grand Foyer is 630' long and 63' high. The crystal chandeliers were hand-blown by @orrefors and an official gift by the Kingdom of @Sweden in 1971. The huge mirrors at left were a gift the Kingdom of @Belgium on behalf of its people and nation.
A detail worth noting in the Kennedy Center madness is a magnificent 12,000 crystal lighting array at the Opera House created by J & L Lobmeyr, who also made chandeliers for the Vienna State Opera and Schönbrunn Palace. It's an official gift from the Republic of Austria, meant as a permanent memorial to President Kennedy.
