A great write-up about Harry Markowitz and the Modern Portfolio Theory. Winning the 2011 Harry Markowitz Award in 2011 with Dr. @AndrewWLo and Eric Fielding from the @NTSB has been my proudest professional achievement.
RIP. This is a life well lived.
Harry Markowitz, who won the Nobel in economic science in 1990 for his work on portfolio theory and the relationship between risk and reward, died last week at the age of 95.
