I have a real question for Roy Cooper.
Where did Roy Cooper fly on the state's plane, and what did he do when he got there?
NCDOT's own aviation report to the General Assembly shows "Cooper for North Carolina" was billed $20,908 for 7 trips on the state plane in fiscal year 2022. The report lists no destinations. No passengers. No purpose.
The report doesn't say where those flights went, who was on board, or why.
So I asked. I sent NCDOT a public records request for the flight logs, manifests, trip purposes and invoices behind those trips. After two emails, I still haven't heard back.
The people of North Carolina paid for that plane. They deserve to know where it was going and WHO he was going to see.
That's the people's plane. A man who has nothing to hide shouldn’t hide these important details. To me, that's really suspect.
