#Aid to #Africa has fallen by more than 25% in the last year and continues to decrease rapidly.
And no surprise that #women and #children are bearing the brunt.
🌍 As international aid to #Africa dries up, what does it mean for #women & #children on the ground?
@AnnetteF24 talks to Nana Zulu from the @awdf01 on how African governments and private donors will need to step in to prevent a catastrophe.

The Grace Hopper conference--the largest gathering of women in tech--was abruptly cancelled due to insufficient funding. Women are underrepresented in tech and AI globally. Truly, society is losing out by not investing in women in tech.

This is beyond sad. So many times, we have taken visiting family and friends to this wonderful place.

What does "legitimate" even mean here? The Electoral Commission found massive breaches of electoral laws. It was the biggest case of electoral fraud in at least a century. And that's *before* considering question of Russian interference.

It’s not just the government that covered up Russian interference in Brexit. The press also played its part. This is one of the only times I was ever interviewed on the subject… by US media.
Here it is. This is the clip from yesterday's @CNN interview where I'm asked - for first time ever - about Brexit-Trump-Russia.
"These vital questions of national security have been interpreted as about politics. And it's not about politics. It's about power. And about Putin."

So this is obviously the official pushback to the line on Russian interference & it’s the same nonsense that Boris Johnson spouted: ‘no successful interference’ is utterly meaningless. There’s never been any investigation & no definition of what ‘success’ means.

I’m not going to agree with Andy Burnham on everything, but this statement needed to be said by a Prime Minister. After the Conservatives suppressed the truth for years, this took courage.
