Great nations write their stories in three books. The book of their words, the book of their deeds, and the book of their art. I'd say Britain still qualifies..

Typical of Reform to misappropriate the story of the Ceuta invasion. It had nothing whatever to do with illegal migration and everything to do with the Moroccan regime staging a rerun of its brutal Green Invasion of the Western Sahara fifty years ago. Should a modern, liberal and progressive Spain hand its harmonious corner of Africa to a shabby autocracy which continues to mistreat the Western Sahara as its colony? Definitely not.

Badenoch’s charmless and shabby response to Starmer’s resignation prompted the memory of Cameron leading a generous standing farewell by (most!) of his colleagues to Blair’s HoC departure speech.

When the very cradle of modern democracy is reduced to having just a handful of real journalists left, Carole Cadwalladr stands as the first among them. This brave and brilliant woman exposed the Cambridge Analytica scandal and shook the world. Today, those she threatened by writing the truth are doing everything they can to discredit her. Remember: Carole is one of the finest investigative journalists the UK and the world have today. Spread the word and share her thread please ‼️‼️ Her latest investigation proves exactly why our democracy is under threat. While brave whistleblowers tried to warn MI5 about Kremlin infiltration, the establishment chose to look the other way, and Boris Johnson actively suppressed the Russia report because the truth was too inconvenient. The security services did nothing, the police did nothing, and the government refused to protect British democracy. Fast forward to today, and we see foreign operatives directing arson attacks against our PM, yet the Westminster press gallery is still playing court jester, recycling anonymous gossip instead of defending the nation. As Carole highlights, the chandeliers are falling into our soup and the establishment is pretending it is just the weather. It is time to wake up, stand with real journalism, and demand a full public inquiry into foreign interference.
A) This a properly brilliant piece of investigative journalism by BBC & @hopenothate. Huge kudos to all involved. B) The Kremlin operative who BBC names as directing arson attacks against Keir Starmer was taught his tradecraft by…drumroll…Sergei Nalobin !!! Pictured here with Boris Johnson. Also: the star of our podcast series, Sergei & the Westminster Spy Ring! Wtaf

So the proud Navy that righteously fought back from the savage attack on Pearl Harbour, winning mighty clashes all the way from Coral Sea to Midway to Leyte Gulf, the greatest sea battle in history, is reduced to a sneak attack on a small lightly armed corvette after a friendly exercise in Sri Lanka. Leaving most of its crew to drown. Betraying the ancient chivalry of the seas. Shaming, and shameful beyond words.

1945. Year of victory. The uneasy alliance of the Big Three has held, though the Russians have a daunting reputation. But what were the soldiers of the Red Army really like? My new book, based on the letters of an English officer in the military governments that took over former Axis territories, opens a fascinating window on the relations between British and Russian soldiers as they worked together in their last great common cause. Tax avoidance leads to a decrease in tax revenue available to fund public services, making a country poorer. Ladies & Gentlemen, Nigel Farage. Patriot. Man of the people. Saviour of Britain, by making our country poorer. When a man shows you who he is, believe him 👇

If you covered 0.4% of the UK's farmland in Solar Panels you would have 100% Renewable Energy. The UK already imports more than 40% of its food. Solar Panels are not going to have ANY effect on food prices.

Labour: here you go Doncaster, we've invested £Ms so you can have your airport back and the jobs and economy boost which goes with that. Doncaster: fuck off, we want Reform who will make council workers redundant and spend our money on strike action and lawsuits.
