In a remarkable experiment, scientists studied the light-harvesting machinery of green sulfur bacteria and found evidence that energy can behave more like a wave than a simple step-by-step transfer. I watched and recorded Somali women tell Katie that she couldn’t bring her kids to their publicly funded daycare because of how she looks they then gestured at her blonde hair. Katie asked if it’s because she’s white and blonde and the woman replied yes.

I’m in the process of going over my work from 2025 which was the pre-governance stage of the program and I have hundreds of notes on Vacuum Catalyzed Aneutronic Fusion (VCAF). Now I’m regretting a little bit my prepared governed version and definition I gave on Ashton Forbes Hard Truths podcast. If I could change anything about what I said it would be to simplify it to this:
Vacuum-catalyzed refers to a process where the quantum vacuum (the fluctuating energy field that exists even in empty space, known as zero-point energy or ZPE) acts as a catalyst to facilitate a reaction, such as nuclear fusion. Expounded:
It means modulating the vacuum’s properties (e.g., through fields or asymmetries) to temporarily lower barriers like the Coulomb repulsion between nuclei, and increasing tunneling probabilities to make fusion easier at lower energies or temperatures. ZPE gradients act as a non-thermal catalyst and “loans” fluctuations to assist reactions and nudge tunneling probabilities upward, repaid entropically, without violating conservation. The “catalysis” is “borrowed” from the vacuum’s energy density. More “Jitter” from the elevated vacuum state excites nuclear systems.
In SED terms, it’s HRP’s inertial drag’s inverse: ZPF gradients “excite” matter toward nuclear reconfiguration.
The terms were discovered when running mock sims of the ZPF Array. Fringing fields from the cavities reached down to the Knudsen flow hydrogen-borane gas channels below and ionized the gas. Rare plasmoids and trace alphas were read as p + ¹¹B through ¹²C* to three heliums — and that is where the terms were born. Nuclear pre-excitation named the compound step; vacuum catalysis named the idea that vacuum fluctuations let the event borrow from the ZPE and repay the ledger entropically somewhere else.
