My irl friends are convinced I play umamusume just because I had that elite ball knowledge about stay gold
Little do they know that I’m not touching that game until they add stay gold in like a year
You can’t always control the outcome of a situation, but you CAN control your reaction to it. It’s what you do when faced with a win or loss that people will define your character by. For every failure, there is a lesson to be learned: it is beneficial to search for those lessons to be better prepared for the next opportunity. The people who got in have a certain skill set that was favorable for this opportunity, it may be worth investing into those kinds of skills if you want to have better chances for the next time something like this comes around.
Every person whose audition I saw is more than deserving of taking to the stage, but there are only so many slots available. For those who got in, I’m looking forward to what y’all got for us because I know it’ll be breathtaking!
For the rest of us, there’s always next time! Build that brand; get inspired by those you look up to; start that project - be the person you want to see standing on that stage. Because when you do get that chance, you’ll be ready to rock it 🤘
Yeah, I’m gonna get on my soapbox and say the cheesy shit again: rejection is redirection.
Acknowledge the disappointment but don’t let it fester. While I did not audition because I’m focused on personal projects, I think it’s an important reminder that resilience is practiced. I also get brain worms, I don’t think anyone is immune but it’s what you do with that energy that matters. Asking yourself “ok, what’s my next move? What can do to stand out next round?” Is going to serve you so much better than sitting with negative thoughts about yourself and your content.
All this is easier said than done, which is why I say that this is practiced. The more you do this in the face of rejection, the more resilient and easier it becomes.
You got this 💕 your time will come.
