👻⚓️🎃A Haze Grey Halloween is here!!!👻⚓️🎃
I'm haunting Advanced. gg this Halloween! Come get your spooky shirt and a sticker for your shakers. On your way off this haunted ship, make sure to pick up a flavor or two to stay hydrated and caffeinated 🤙
Yeah, I’m gonna get on my soapbox and say the cheesy shit again: rejection is redirection.
Acknowledge the disappointment but don’t let it fester. While I did not audition because I’m focused on personal projects, I think it’s an important reminder that resilience is practiced. I also get brain worms, I don’t think anyone is immune but it’s what you do with that energy that matters. Asking yourself “ok, what’s my next move? What can do to stand out next round?” Is going to serve you so much better than sitting with negative thoughts about yourself and your content.
All this is easier said than done, which is why I say that this is practiced. The more you do this in the face of rejection, the more resilient and easier it becomes.
You got this 💕 your time will come.

Seeing a lot of people upset their auditions for a project got one or even zero views.
First of all, its fine to feel that it’s unfair and I totally get the frustration. But what’s for you won’t go by you 🖤 Carry on carrying on and your chance will come
From how they come up on my feed I assume it’s the first audition process for a lot of people and that’s fine but it’s a harsh reality moment I’m afraid.
Before joining SVA, I auditioned for many things for years (the number of videos I put time in to is a ridiculous number). If they even got one view then it was considered “a chance” and I had plenty where the view count stayed at zero. And that was before there were so many of us!
Unfortunately, that’s how it goes in any sort of audition or job process. That project probably had thousands of auditions to go through (my entire feed was full of them) and so, sadly, some will be dismissed through other means of application or even just because of where you are on the list.
Is it fair? It doesn’t feel it but it’s unfortunately the norm due to time and resources. Its not a reflection on your skills/talents.
They can’t hire everyone.
Side note that I don’t think it’s fair on the faces of the project to get so much pressure on them when they likely were given shortlists by staff and helped choose from those. They’re all busy people and I find it very unlikely that they had the time to go through all the auditions themselves (unless they’ve said they did in which case disregard this).
It is okay to feel frustrated but more auditions will appear and more chances will be presented to you. Take a pause, feel your feelings, then lift your head up and keep trying 🖤
Museums using vtubers to attract new patrons!!! We love to see it ☺️
I'm going to touch grass next week! Little cabin, Northern Lights, everything. During these times, I think I'm most excited for a bit of pause and reflection. So much has happened in the past few months, some for better, some for worse. Kind of excited to just slow.
We'll still stream early in the week, but I'll most likely be offline or have limited connectivity during my mini getaway.
Let's do it! Let's defeat the mother plant today and maybe get into some halloween building!
See ya there!
If you hit 'Go Live" and you have one regular viewer, you're doing it. You are entertaining someone.
It's my personal choice not to look at numbers, but from the jump, 10 years ago as a fleshtuber, I've lived by this philosophy: if 1 person is having fun with me and I can make them smile, I'm fulfilled.
At the end of the day, you have to do some soul-searching and find what makes you tick. What is your creator philosophy? What do you want to accomplish through content creation? What motivates you to hit "Go Live"? Do you want to make people laugh, inspire someone, make someone feel seen, or help them feel less lonely? There are so many reasons we do what we do, but what is YOURS 🫵?
Alright degens! Let's quest!!
Live now!

☢️⚓️Schedule for Week of 10/26☢️⚓️
We are back with a schedule!!! Thank goodness!!!
I'm happy to be back! For the next two weeks, I'll be streaming and doing some final things for the rebrand. I can't wait to chat with y'all! We've got both US and EU streams on the menu.
When my health tanks like it has, it’s a blessing and a curse. It means I’m forced to slow down. I HATE slowing down because I forces me to confront the brain worms.
For the better part of my content creator life, I’ve been a military content creator and as I’ve stated before, I want to move a little further away from it. In reality it’s because I’ve made all the same 25 jokes about life in the Navy and I’ve been out for almost 4 years. I do political work for vets and sometimes, I just wanna stream and not talk about veteran life after debating all day.
But it’s also made me think “who am I, outside the military and veteran space”. I’ll tell ya, it’s hard. So many parts of myself I either buried or discarded because they didn’t serve me in the time I was serving and transitioning to civilian life. Parts of me wish that 18 year old me knew herself better before signing.
However, that’s the beauty of life. You’re always discovering who you are, what makes you tick. There is something so beautiful about having a clean slate. I get to choose who I want to be. It’s terrifying but also exhilarating.
