t+20m: we got @Cloudflare on call t+40m: we got our problem solved we were not even their clients, but this is the best customer service i have ever seen. the guys are very skilled. they understood in seconds what was the problem, and helped us @rushs1ck and the team 🫡
I urgently need someone at @cloudflare to get us on the enterprise plan in the next few hours, we need higher limits, budget is not a problem, time is! thanks

once again, pirates are trying to get our network fucked from every direction, coz they don't like the boat! there is literally no point doing what they do except trying to get us down or unreachable don't worry we're on it with all the power and community support you give us!

I've been claudemaxxing a bit too hard lately. I needed more compute, more accounts, more guardrails, and now I just need more sleep. This video is a chaotic spiral into hill climbing. Consider it the start of a series. Only gets weirder from here.
omfg @theo just released a video that talks about boat.dev

ciao blacksmith we just made a CI runner so cheap & fast you can scale your CI by 20x on the same budget introducing CI on boat.dev's cloud VMs 1. install boat & run: $ boat ci connect 2. change your runner: - runs-on: ubuntu-latest + runs-on: boat

i don't think you understand how crazy this is you can save literally millions per year and cut costs by 80% while getting work done on the best CPUs and VM platform on earth
on boat.dev cloud VMs on a $250 budget you can spin up in <2s from a snapshot: > 17k typical CI runs (6.5x cheaper than on blacksmith) > 31k RL runs (8x cheaper than on daytona) > 868 coding agents for 8hr on 4c x 8gb x 50gb nvme, ryzen 9 full VMs

boat offers the least expensive full VMs for agents at $0.00001/s for 4c 8gb ram 50gb nvme to further protect these prices historically we've had to cap the n° VMs starts / day we raised the limits 2 times already, and today we add a way to burst above them, up to 3x, using your credits also now get up to 25% free credits for starts, snapshots & VM time by buying more of them upfront the kind of spiky workloads we saw in prod that benefit from bursting remain 4x to 8x less costly on boat.dev than Daytona, E2B or Modal and it's now way less frustrating to pull them off on boat.dev more than anywhere else, the generous compute pricing aligns closely & sustainably with real costs learn more: docs.boat.dev/limits#limits-…

@boatdotdev is an amazing service and it's massively undersold. So I'm going to list everything I love abt it - spinning up a vm takes 1.3 sec, and forking a running one takes 3 - insanely good dx on snapshots. set a box up once and every new one boots from there - you can build android apps. gradle, kotlin and java are there, and an android 14 image comes preloaded to run them on - you can build windows apps. wine runs .exe files, and you can boot a whole windows 10 vm inside it - there's a desktop you can access over vnc at 60 fps - computer use for u agents built in. including a screen recorder - every harness is already installed: claude code, codex, cursor, opencode, pi, kimi, vibe, hermes, openclaw - agents know how to spin up more boats(life changing) - basically every language is ready: node, bun, python, go, rust, java, kotlin, .net, ruby, php, elixir, r oh also i guess it's cheap asf

introducing LLM & API credentials proxying in boat.dev when ON, sandboxes get mock API keys & subs that route to yours safely it allows to: -> let ur subusers or team use AI in credentials-less VMs -> monitor their token usage & stop them any time you can also now: - rotate keys / subs at any time (for ex, if you run out of usage) - setup multiple AI credentials profiles for tidyness - create team environments and secrets boat.dev, the cheapest, most powerful and practical sandboxes for you, your agents, your teams, and your users

boat.dev sits at the perfect in between full VM capabilities, no run limit (supports short & long), disk backed up live but state not fully persistent so they can scale to tens of thousands, and absurdly cheap: $0.018/hr for 2vCPU 4GB ram 50GB disk
