you mean eight 18500 nodes with zero hashpower cried their eyes out split the chain and stalled after 2 blocks like the weak bunch they are because they couldn’t manage the inherited difficulty?

Thank you for educating people on this very important topic. The sacred 21m number is mutable if <51% nodes honest

Yeah, it's just a matter of time. However, I expect coretards and their apologists to be comfortable with tail emissions and demurrage.

Am I crazy for wanting to average out of BTC now?

Yes. But it's OK.

For anyone curious, no, this is not an accurate framing of the events.

This is Bitcoin. Your opinion is worthless here. Go cuddle with Ghaylor.

writing in red doesn't make it true. even with a very low threshold % for activation (which is a slimeball move), miners signaling was only about 2.5% and non-miner at around 8%. nobody overridden anything. bip110 was rejected. pure and simple.

18500 pleb nodes have been ignored by 8 mining pools/mining nodes. If you don't know what is an honest node, you didn't read the article.

You have a copy of the ledger on your home pc and think you’re a node

You own pedo coins and think you're a Bitcoiner.

And XBT will suffer the same fate because of people like you

What can be measured: BIP110 did not activate on the SHA-256d chain. The split came at ~961632, and the Knots branch moved to BLAKE2b PoW at 961640. "Override" or "rejection" is the part each side argues. The heights are the same either way.

Guess any nodes that were against bip 110 didn't count then huh?

There weren't any. 0 nodes operated URSF.

You XBT shitcoin retards are something else. BIP110 was categorically rejected. Period. Nobody cares.

BIP 110 was ignored by 8 large mining pools. To reject BIP 110 they should run URSF, but none did. Blocked for trolling.

The author clearly doesn’t understand what an “honest” node is. Embarrassing
29
Was there a double spend here? How did they actually override the will? Or just a 'theoretical'? Anyone?
42
Obviously the honest nodes are the ones who write the history books

So do we still need to update the PoW even if it means a hard fork?
94
Ultimately the pivot to BLAKE2b is the best way forward to reach end goal.
