Liverpool have committed more fouls this season than any other team in the Premier League. Arsenal are joint 17th.
Liverpool rank joint fourth in the league for yellow cards. Arsenal are joint 17th and Liverpool have one red card to Arsenal's none.
Arsenal's highest entry in the most fouls committed by a player in the league is Myles Lewis Skelly at 34th, joint with Szoboszlai. There are four Liverpool players who have committed more than MLS.
This is fan fic nonsense.
Sunday merely served to reinforce the belief that Liverpool as a team are far too nice.
There’s a difference between being streetwise and cheating. It wasn’t pretty, but Arsenal produced a masterclass in the former in the second half on Sunday.
Andoni Iraola was clear post-match that there will be a change of approach. He will tell his players to start going to ground when they are impeded in the box.
It’s a sad state of affairs, but needs must.

the interviewer tried to force him into a narrative and he quelled it perfectly by saying they probably do the same if they’re up and arsenal wouldn’t have done it if they were up
class act ngl, not salty like these fans

Against Bayern Munich, Rice passed to Madueke and he ‘walled’ it one time to Gyokeres who rolled it to Rice who bombed into the space Madueke would normally take.
Rice hit a low drive and scored.
Today against Liverpool, Madueke rolled the ball to Rice who overlapped ahead of him while Timber underlapped/inverted to allow Rice bomb into that space.
An inch-perfect cross led to an easy tap-in.
Coincidence?
Never.
That’s textbook. Rice and Madueke have forged a technical relationship.
Arsenal have wicked rotations when they are in flow.

Yeah I’m pretty fucking proud that we can go to Anfield and Liverpool have 0 shots on target having spent £350m on Isak, Barcola and Wirtz.
I’m pretty proud that we have 24pts from 27 and are top of the league.
I’m pretty proud that we’re Champions.

yeah i don’t have a lot of time for complaining about penalties when arsenal could easily have been a man up for 89 minutes

If Mosquera hadn't made that silly tackle. This is exactly how that cl final would have played out. This defending thing is really our food.

4 away games we failed to win last season, all within our opening 9 games this season
We’ve won all 4, without conceding a goal.
Exceptional.

Carragher spitting some absolute facts for once:
🔹Arsenal's current back four needs to be in the conversations of the best in the history of the PL.
🔹Declan Rice is the best midfielder in the PL by a mile.
Not really spoke about the game on here but thought it was pretty incredible how Arteta managed phases of the game, they got the goal early after a lot of end to end chances, then adapted to reduce the space for Gakpo/Barcola/Isak - they had one 4v3 on the break and Arteta shut up shop. Arsenal dont have that same pace & power on the break as Liverpool, so he changed, reduced the space and got his players in shorter spaces where they could physically dominate esp in the centre & out wide. He’s truly an incredible manager, man.

Max Dowman serving a three match ban while both those Nyoni tackles aren’t even a yellow. Difficult not to despair really.

This #BeatLukeLittler only confirms one thing.
A Royal Rumble of darts would be sensational TV.
Same rules, one leg 501.
30 players, Winner stays on.
As soon as the leg is over a 10 second countdown starts and the next players music starts and walks out.
We don’t know who is in it, old players new players. Imagine all of a sudden Phil Taylor’s music starts to play…
Would be amazing TV.

This is really poor by @FA. The governing body is supposed to protect players. It should be disputing this regulatory commission verdict by members drawn from the FA judicial panel. Max Dowman could have suffered a bad injury to his standing leg from a dangerous challenge which went unpunished. Arsenal 16-year-old shouldn’t have reacted but his frustration was understandable. Some other players might have rolled around and ensured a bad challenge was punished. Dowman didn’t. He doesn’t stay down. The FA should have shown some understanding towards Dowman. Instead, it has suspended him for three games. FA priorities all wrong: tolerating a poor challenge and some weak refereeing but punishing a kid who objected to a bad challenge that could have dealt him a serious injury. Protect players. #AFC
Arsenal really do fry everyone’s brains
We’re now at a point where, because it’s Arsenal, a scissor tackle at pace, almost trapping a standing leg, is a “good challenge” but a tiny reaction with zero force is “violent conduct”
Think for a second. Are you all fucking retarded?

Anyone that has played football will know exactly what the defender is doing! It’s an unnecessarily over aggressive tackle. He’s locked into the sideline, and he’s tried to ‘put him in the stands’. Dowman is very lucky not to do his knee/ankle ligaments or even break his leg/ankle. I think the INTENT in that tackle does more damage to football and fellow footballers careers than the slightly emotional 16 year old reaction, where actually, the kid is ‘looking after himself’.
A chance for all to learn, Including the ref.
