Proud to work with @RepCiscomani and our @uarizona partners to establish the new Southwest Watershed Research Center facility in Tucson.
Thanks to Rep. Juan Ciscomani’s help and fantastic leadership, this facility will provide vital research to Arizona's farmers and ranchers to better manage land and water resources.

Big milestone for the Tri-City region! 🎉🚧
Tri-City Regional Sanitary District (TRSD) celebrated Phase 1 of its new wastewater system — powered by a $23 million loan and $24 million grant from USDA Rural Development. This project will replace failing systems, protect local water, and bring modern infrastructure to more than 5,500 residents of Globe, Miami and Claypool.
Thanks to an additional USDA Rural Development grant, homeowners will connect at no cost, giving residents an important upgrade, allowing them to improve and ensure sanitary conditions for their homes.
More progress ahead as construction continues through 2028! 🌟🚧

New home, new tree! 🌳🏡
USDA Rural Development representatives celebrated Ms. Magaña's future new home during a Day of Service event. Excited to see this Mutual Self‑Help home — and the new tree — grow!
Thanks to the hard work of Housing America Corporation and the generous support of local businesses across the San Luis community, the Magaña family is one step closer to their new home. We’re grateful to everyone helping them along the way.

Three of our USDA Rural Development Arizona leaders spent last Friday rolling up our sleeves to volunteer at the Amado Youth Center — a facility we previously helped fund through a Community Facilities loan and grant.
Our team loved giving back to a center that’s transforming opportunities for rural youth! 🌟💪
Two Arizona producers, two unique visions — and one powerful boost from USDA Rural Development’s Value-Added Producer Grant (VAPG)!
Good Food Tucson’s Dos Manos Apiaries is taking raw Sonoran Desert honey to new heights, expanding retail channels, building out online sales, strengthening production infrastructure, and even creating 12 new local agricultural jobs. That’s some seriously sweet growth!🐝
Meanwhile, Michaelis Ag Services is shaping the future of its livestock operation with a VAPG planning grant that supports long-term strategy for high-quality swine and sheep production. From established infrastructure to carefully selected breeds, they’re using the grant to plan for smarter, stronger, more resilient growth across their 30-acre operation. 🐑🐖
These producers are proving what VAPG is all about: turning local dedication into lasting opportunity — and keeping more value in rural communities.

Honored to join @POTUS and @FLOTUS at the White House today as President Trump signed an Executive Order to advance women’s health at every stage of life. 🇺🇸
As Secretary of Agriculture, I know how important this mission is for rural America. Today, 70% of rural counties lack a hospital with labor and delivery services. Our mothers, daughters, and sisters deserve access to quality care, no matter their ZIP code.
From better care to more affordable food, President Trump is putting American families first.
As he said today, “The prices are coming way down!” 🥚🥬🧀🍎📉
His leadership is delivering progress for our farmers and the families they feed.
More work ahead, but proud to serve under a President fighting every day to Make America Healthy Again!
Serving Those Who Served! 🇺🇸
USDA Rural Development, SBA, VA, America’s SBDC, and Boots to Business programs hosted a roundtable in Sierra Vista to highlight federal resources available to Veterans who own or plan to start a small business.
Emphasizing the continued commitment of the Trump Administration to expand economic opportunities for those who have served, the event aimed to simplify access to information and ensure Veterans understand the full range of assistance available to them as business owners.
We're proud to support those who have served our nation and continue to strengthen communities across Arizona!
