🔥 College coaches needing a D1 GA / entry level position for this upcoming season please contact me.
@CoachCawsey is a relentless worker who has helped us immensely here at @TheHoopGroup this year.
A little more than 8 years ago, I walked into Coach Curley’s office and told him I wanted to play college basketball and one day be a college basketball coach.
He offered me a roster spot and an opportunity to compete in a great league.
McDaniel and his basketball program opened doors for me that have completely changed my life.
I got two undergraduate degrees. 🎓
I walked out with full time job offers & the opportunity to coach and continue my education at Marymount University. 📚
I participated in a strong entrepreneurship program that lead me to building my own youth basketball program that impacts hundreds of young individuals in Arlington, Va. 🏀
I have teammate that are now life long friends.
Most importantly, I learned to show up and work every day regardless of circumstance, feelings, or results.
He lead through service and commitment to presence.
I am grateful.
Rest in peace Coach. Once a terror, Always a terror 🟢🟡
Sad news from the college basketball world. McDaniel head coach Kevin Curley passed away last night after a courageous battle with cancer. The coaching veteran was the all-time winningest coach in McDaniel history and by all accounts a great person. Thoughts are with his family and team during this unimaginably tough time.
