In this video, URA Commissioner General @URA_CG, Mr. Musinguzi Rujoki, shared a touching story -yesterday during the Memorial service at All Saints Cathedral, Nakasero. He revealed that when he became Commissioner General, he firmly encouraged his mother to start paying taxes. 馃ぃ馃嚭馃嚞
His mother reportedly asked him whether he was the first Commissioner General Uganda had ever had, wondering why his predecessors had never told her to pay taxes!
But his response was smart, patriotic and guided by a desire to see Uganda prosper. His mother eventually started paying taxes, contributing to the country's revenue.
This story has touched my heart this morning. 鉂わ笍
How many public officials entrusted with power and responsibility can put patriotism above personal interests and genuinely wish our country well?
Do we use the positions entrusted to us to build Uganda, or do we use them to take everything Uganda has to offer?
Patriotism begins with personal example. 馃嚭馃嚞

If your loved one abroad informs you that his/her life is in danger, do not wait to lose communication completely. Get as much information as possible especially about their exact location, write it down and inform us. Through the INTERPOL communication channels we will ask the police of the country in question to locate and rescue your person.
