I didn't set out to build ten AI agents. I just kept getting annoyed. Annoyed at opening my calendar every morning. Annoyed at googling people before calls. Annoyed at rewatching meeting recordings to find one quote. Annoyed at my inbox three times a day. Ten annoyances later, six agents run daily and four run weekly, and I trigger none of them. NOTE: Buidling the agent isn't the hard part. Writing down how you actually do the thing is the hard part. That's where your judgment lives, and right now it's only in your head. Pick the task you resent most this week. Write out the steps like you're training someone. Then put it on a schedule. That's one. One is enough to start. What would yours be?

You can clone your voice, your face, and your content calendar with AI by this afternoon. So can anyone else. When anyone can produce anything, buyers stop asking "who's good?" They start asking "who do I believe?"

Growth Hackers are now called pirates?
Your AI team needs pirates and architects. Pirates try a billion things and find what’s useful. Architects turn the promising mess into something other people can use and maintain. At Every, @danshipper sees that handoff as the difference between a one-off experiment and a system the company can build on. Watch the full episode: every.to/context-window/keep…

Here's my updated review of each personal agent: 1. Grok Bot Pros: A team of bots is the easiest to understand. Free X access is amazing for research. Voice mode and the new Pages feature are great. Cons: Email feature doesn't really work. 2. Muse Pros: Free, best consumer UX, most meme-worthy avatar, and business calling is amazing. Cons: Muse Wonder is good but Opus/Astra is better. 3. Claude Duet Pros: Most proactive out of the box. Feels polished and simple to use. Arguably the best model behind it. Cons: Missing some features in research preview, like being able to drive its browser. 4. ChatGPT Dots Pros: Works inside ChatGPT, so it can drive all your cloud and local threads. Cons: Much better than at launch but still buggy. Voice mode is slow to connect. I've also tried Instinct and some of the other agents, but I don't want more than 4 at a time connected to my email. 📌 Don't miss my full Claude Duet review here for everything that it can do: youtu.be/D-pz8L1orVI
Claude Duet, Anthropic’s 24/7 personal agent, is finally here. I had early access and here’s my new video with my honest take on: → Why I think it's the most proactive agent → Why Artifacts could be its secret sauce → How it stacks up to Grok Bot, Muse, and Dots Duet is in research preview and I’m sure will improve a lot over time. 📌 Watch now: youtu.be/D-pz8L1orVI nitter.cf/claudeai/status/211298…

As Amazon blocks AI agents from shopping on its site, Walmart is taking the opposite approach, introducing new technology that lets AI agents make purchases on customers' behalf, with controls over spending and transaction approvals. spr.ly/6019BHXyoW

huh....
Kanye West said it best: "If every time someone asks you a question you try to say the right answer, your entire life is a test. I am not trying to say the right answer. I'm just doing what I feel." Nobody should ever get to grade your life but you.

I have a weird crush on quiet success. 😅 The private kind. The kind that never posts about itself. AI and an iPhone can make anyone look polished in about 20 minutes. And for a lot of people, likes and followers have become the scoreboard for “making it.” So when I see someone crushing it with a 2015 headshot... 😄 Or running a thriving community off a simple email list, with zero production team... I light up. Full confession: I love BOTH. I’ve been creating content since 2007. I love the stage. I love hitting record. Looking good is fine. Being seen is fine. The trap is believing that looking the part is how you become the part. Looking successful and feeling successful on the inside are two very different things. And faking the first one gets easier every single day. So here’s my goal for this season: Stand in the spotlight. Without needing it.

I’ve come to this realization as well.
Instinct is a feature. Muse is a feature. Dots is a feature. These will not exist as independent products within a year

Email is the cockroach of marketing. It can’t be killed. It won’t be killed. Email will outlive the human race.
a big take I've been noodling on and I’m ready to call: the newsletter is dead @every's core business is a newsletter with 120k+ subscribers so I don't say this lightly. persistent agents mean i dont look at my inbox with dots (GrokBots, Muse, etc) I almost never look at my inbox. if I do it's for a specific thing I need to reply to. i think in a year I'll be doing all of my email this way - fully filtered by my dot / something like it. this is not new: it's a continuation of the trend of having a “newsletter” folder in Gmail, but 10x more filtered. what it means It doesn’t mean people won't read newsletters, but it does mean that getting a person’s email is no longer the guarantee that you have a relationship with them that it used to. luckily, with persistent agents (and AI coding more generally) there is an entirely new playing field to build relationships with readers. instead of fighting to get an email address, publishers and creators will need to make sure we're installed in our reader's agent harness of choice, so that they get directly notified when we do something new. we're already starting to experiment with this @every with our MCP and the frontier alerts we send users of our slack agent (every.to/agent) it's also more affordable than ever for publishers and creators to build their own platform ecosystem: you can have your own website, app etc. and you can use AI to publish 100x more high-quality stuff to your community—so we may see a world where many creators themselves are running their own little empires that have their own apps, feeds etc. to be clear: It'll take a while before this actually happens, but the idea of getting someone's email creating a direct relationship with them is over. here's a set of predictions I made 3 years ago about AI and media that panned out pretty well: every.to/chain-of-thought/we…

Another one bites the dust in our War on Expensive Software. 😵 Zapier. An old friend. We’ve used it for 10 years. We paid for 123 automations. 63 hadn’t run in a month. 2 did 88% of the work. The rest was form-to-Slack and HubSpot-to-Sheets plumbing. Claude rebuilt 1 of them. Everything else moved into tools we already pay for. Zapier: $4,788 a year → $0. Steal the audit. Export your Zapier task history and give Claude or ChatGPT this: “List every automation, its owner, and runs in the last 30 days. Flag anything that hasn’t run. Show which few do most of the work. For each one, name a tool we already pay for that could replace it. Give me a cancel plan with dates.” Bye bye, old friend. 👋
