Alex did her homework! Fav part @vp clocking @justicekavanaw on men never have to this day the us goverment policing men over thier bodies! There are no men’s laws. I don’t see Trump getting fixed for raping women!
Sorry haters. The Call Her Daddy interview was well conducted.
Not only was it a good interview, it was meeting voters WHERE THEY ARE. As a newly registered voter in 1992, I had the Rock the Vote campaign on MTV. The candidate that used that platform won.
Call Her Daddy has gotten Kamala to agree to an arms embargo.
Youre a partisan hack who receives public funds. You're saluting a candidate who could have had a serious interview but instead went on a show that embraces the word "slut" as a badge of honor. There's nothing of value left among the journalistic ruins you call home.
People think they can just get on this app and will their opinion into fact by virtue of a large enough number looking for confirmation bias agreeing with them.
I agree with @AudieCornish (the Call Her Daddy interview was well conducted)
I disagree with any implication that VP Harris did get not tough ques from Cooper
The questions were smarter than we often see from nat'l media political hosts, and the long-form convo drew SUBSTANCE
The reason older journalists, like Mitchell, are being assholes about Harris doing the interviews she's doing is because it shows their methods are obsolete. Their gotcha moments are over. The only party that needs them is GOP because they hate the young Gen and won't adapt.
What’s tough about journalists consistently regurgitating Trump’s lies for Kamala to react to? What’s tough about questions that quibble about whether Tim Walz used IVF or IUI? What’s tough about journalists asking a question, getting an answer, then spinning the analysis? Please
largely agree with this take.
way too many "traditional" journalists forget the point of interviews...which is to get good *answers.*
way too much focus on how questions sound and what those questions say about the interviewer...not enough focus on the answers
It was a terrible interview. The Call Her Daddy interview emphasizes that @KamalaHarris and @alexandracooper literally believe young women are stupid.
What a sad commentary.
I’m not a huge call her daddy fan despite being in that demographic but absolutely such a smart move to go on a podcast that reaches young women who may not engage much with politics. Particularly with the focus of the interview being on women & reproductive rights.
Journalists have engaged in access journalism for so long they feel they are owed access at this point. The model has cheapened journalism and frankly it's delightful to see it backfire in the industry's collective face.
Escape tough questioning? Lol you folks are delusional. You don’t ask tough questions. You ask idiotic questions.
one of the best interviews i’ve watched all year was CHD with jojo siwa so this does not surprise me
podcasts have done irreparable harm to the planet
This is the right take.
I think journalists in mainstream press (myself included!) need to seriously reflect on this media moment -- and why no one but us cares that political candidates are largely bypassing traditional news for these high-profile interviews.
