Winter Garden’s new Tucker Ranch Botanical Garden has officially opened, and what an incredible addition to our community!
This 25.6-acre expansion brings beautiful botanical gardens, walking paths, exercise stations, a boardwalk, and a pavilion overlooking the water
Two Special Olympics gold medals and another well-deserved honor for Victor Wright!
It was wonderful to celebrate Victor tonight as he received his second Mayoral Award for Excellence from the Mayor of Winter Garden
Honored to officially serve on the Board of Directors of the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, a board I have admired for years for its work in preserving our history and heritage.
It’s a particular honor to serve alongside our chair, Larry Cappleman, a great community leader.
No better way than to start your morning with thanksgiving and prayer- packed Orange County Prayer Breakfast - thank you Jim Subers and Vision Orlando ! Going on here now!!
Wonderful to visit Natalie Kern at Shepherd's Hope in Winter Garden!
What I love most about this organization is how they serve what I like to call the “missing middle”: people in our community who don’t qualify for Medicaid but still can’t afford health insurance.
One mission: END VETERAN SUICIDE.

They EARN their homes and work hard for them.
Standing between two extraordinary paintings of George Washington in the U.S. Capitol tonight. One shows him defending the dignity of his command. The other shows him voluntarily surrendering it.
Two moments. One remarkable lesson in character.
College can be a great path, but it is not the only path to a successful future. Our high schoolers should know about the incredible opportunities available through skilled careers, apprenticeships, technical training, certifications, entrepreneurship and so much more.
Today we had the opportunity to visit historic Eatonville.
Known as “The Town That Freedom Built,” Town of Eatonville Florida was incorporated in 1887 and is recognized as the nation’s oldest incorporated African American municipality. God and freedom live here.
Thank you @HWHappenings for covering the Children’s Museum coming to West Orange!

It was so great getting to see the beautiful work of my friend Jeremy’s wife, Angela Scott, on display right in the Orange County, Administration Center.
And a special shout-out to Vicki Landon, Orange County’s Arts & Cultural Affairs Administrator!
Sherry and her daughter Alivia were experiencing homelessness. This week, that journey reached another incredible milestone as Sherry and Alivia became homeowners through West Orange Habitat for Humanity, Inc.
After Sherry signed, she bowed her head in prayer of gratitude to Him
