It's so heartening that all these global Pro-Palestine demos have made such a difference to the lives of all Palestinians. I do hope they will remember to write thank you letters.
A fascinating article.

And now I’m here on Oxford Street, London on my way to this morning’s photoshoot and admiring the newly installed allahu akbarriers, just in time to keep Christmas shoppers safe from Muslims with mental health issues who want to drive into pedestrians and kill them.

“The ANC is on course for a bruising result in the country's major cities, and if its poor electoral performance continues, it will soon have to scramble to secure coalition deals to retain a role in governing the country's councils.”, Business Day reports.
Good news for South Africa! This man and his party must go. They’ve caused enormous damage to our beautiful country. #politics #markets #LGE2026

For nine years, Jacob Zuma outmaneuvered the entire South African state apparatus, turning a G20 economy into a private piggy bank.
While the world watched in absolute disbelief, Zuma ran a petty, blatant looting operation that dismantled public institutions to enrich a single family network.
A sitting head of state effectively outsourced the appointment of cabinet ministers and the awarding of multi-billion rand state contracts to three immigrant brothers from India.
While millions lived in squalor, hundreds of millions in public security funds vanished into upgrading Zuma's private rural mansion, complete with a "fire pool," cattle kraal, and amphitheater.
Under his watch, the crown jewels of South Africa's public sector, Eskom, Transnet, and SAA, were systematically hollowed out, their balance sheets bled dry by political cadres.
He weaponized his struggle-era espionage skills to capture the National Prosecuting Authority and the Hawks, ensuring absolute immunity while the looting occurred in broad daylight.
The true absurdity of the Zuma era was the compliance of the masses and the intellectual gymnastics of his party's defenders.
The ANC repeatedly used its parliamentary majority to shield him from dozens of no-confidence votes, sacrificing the country's sovereign credit rating to save one man.
The media documented the rot in real time, yet the looting continued unabated because the state machinery was entirely compromised.
Zuma didn't just steal money; he broke the structural spine of a capable state, leaving a legacy of rolling blackouts and ruined infrastructure that South Africans will be paying for across generations.
Jacob Zuma ran South Africa like a personal ATM.
From 2009 to 2018, Zuma presided over what his own prosecutors later called "state capture": a systematic looting operation organized around the Gupta family, who appointed cabinet ministers, directed government contracts, and collected state-owned enterprise revenues as though Eskom and Transnet were subsidiaries of their mining interests.
McKinsey, KPMG, and SAP each paid back hundreds of millions in fees extracted through fraudulent Transnet and Eskom contracts. Eskom alone borrowed R350 billion during this period, executed virtually no productive infrastructure, and left the country with Stage 6 load-shedding.
Capital hates uncertainty. Foreign direct investment collapsed from $8.3 billion in 2008 to under $1.3 billion by 2017. Unemployment hit 27 percent before the pandemic arrived to finish the job. When the state cannibalizes its own institutions, private investors leave.
Property rights are the foundational signal that tells capital: build here, stay here, it's safe. Zuma's ANC spent nine years corroding that signal through cadre deployment, BEE rent-seeking, and prosecutorial institutions gutted of anyone inconvenient enough to actually prosecute. South Africa's National Prosecuting Authority under Shaun Abrahams became a mechanism for protecting Zuma, not the public.
The ANC can accurately be described as a criminal organization in control of an entire country.
If you dress like this for a court appearence on charges of rape you're asking for a guilty verdict. And sun glasses? On an overcast November day in London? Puleeease. Lock him up for ten years at least. If only for bad taste.
Voting chaos and long queues could be easily dealt with if only income tax payers had the vote. It would all be over in a morning.

London, UK. Southwark market. A sea of hijabs, endless queues, total chaos at the fish stalls. This is not integration but substitution. Bye bye London.
Huge queue at the local polling station and everyone loved me asking where the KFC was being handed out.....it wasn't. That's the snag with living in a 'white land thief' zone.
