Another update. The County Attorney is a nonpartisan race. Voters decided in 2019 that Lewis and Clark County positions should be nonpartisan (a fantasy). The current county attorney is up for election with no candidate running against him.

He'll likely plead to an amended charge of disorderly (mostly for the drunken behavior element) with a fine and minimal jail time, all of which will be suspended. I honestly can't imagine a world in which this guy actually pleads to a felony charge on this.
