Don’t forget that Lich was a guest of honour at US ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra’s 4th of July party. Hoekstra is a known comrade of the Republicans from Michigan who came to Alberta to plot strategy with separatists (a meeting detailed in recent Globe reporting).
