🟡St. Laurence (3-6) earned the #39 seed and will drive south to Belleville East. They’ve reached the quarterfinals or beyond in 3 straight years. This is a sneaky good 3-win team that only lost one game by more than 2 scores, despite playing a tough schedule while being ravaged by injuries.
🏈Scoring averages: Offense 18.3 / Defense 21.2
👀One player to watch: A healthy Sean Rice can help slow down the hot Lancer offense
🔵Behind Enemy Lines: Belleville East
The Lancers (5-4) bring us our second CCL-Southwestern matchup. They’ve averaged 42.3 points per game in October against 3 playoff teams. They have been knocked out by CCL teams in two straight years (Loyola R1 '24, Mt. Carmel R2 '25).
🗓️Schedule: Solid - 44 opponents’ wins, 1 ranked team, 2 RV
🏈Scoring averages: Offense 24.6 / Defense 25.3
🏆Best win: Week 3 at Althoff Catholic, 54-14
👀One player to watch: Sr DB/WR James Johnson (Cincinnati commit)

From an undersized running back as a kid to a big-time scoring threat as a junior, junior Keynan Morgan stars for St Laurence with big TD surge. Check out the @BevRevNews story!
