And it's a wrap...thank you 🙏 for joining our @BABCP AGM- the longest we've held.
With our growing membership, it is important we hear from as many of our members as possible.
I will continue to manage this account, so you've not heard the last of me! 😊
Final night and final message as President of @BABCP 🙏❤
It has been an honour to lead the Association on behalf of our 22,000+ members in what has an eventful couple of years.

See you at the AGM tomorrow. 🙌
My response to @labour budget 👇🏽
There are groups within mental health services that are underserved.
I hope these groups will be taken into consideration when funding for mental health services is distributed.
@NevilleSouthall #Budget2024
A response from @BABCP_President Dr Saiqa Naz to this week's Budget.

ALT Budget Response form BABCP President, Dr Saiqa Naz I welcome statements made in the Budget about providing investment in healthcare. This investment should also focus on the social determinants of health which impact on people's physical and mental health, which can ease pressures facing mental health services. Investment is needed in all areas of mental health, including children and young people's mental health, supporting people with learning disabilities and homeless communities, and those impacted by Covid and other long term health conditions. The BABCP will be issuing a comprehensive response soon.
The countdown begins...in my final week of my @BABCP Presidency!
Looking forward to seeing members at the AGM next Wednesday and officially handing the Association over to Stirling Moorey!

Digital exclusion- when you call to see your parents faces & you get this!
On a more serious note, mental health services should not overly rely on technology alone to meet people's needs. In-person contact should be an option.
