On a couple of occasions over the past few weeks I’ve observed a decline in safety along the Thames Valley Parkway north of Blackfriars Bridge. There is an encampment there. There was yelling/intimidating behaviour towards people enjoying the path. #ldnont
Service depots offering basic necessities to those living in encampments will be up and running by July 4, according to the city.

Off the top of my head: raised crosswalk. Traffic signal that defaults to red for cars and walk for pedestrians (only turns when a car arrives). Very low (10-20kmph) speed limit on approach.

Coun. Trossow argues for not accepting the staff report and closing the bridge to vehicle traffic year round. "We have the opportunity to create a car-free public space on this bridge." he says. Suggests they could add planters, make it attractive space to stop, enjoy the river.
