Binance said the estimated impact of its security breach stands at about $6.3B, with roughly $3B frozen on-chain so far, a gap of around $3.3B. Tether said it froze over $1.5B and Circle more than $800M. Binance said early findings point to a compromised DevOps engineer's laptop, with no sign of a wallet key leak. It plans to cover losses via SAFU and company funds; deposits and withdrawals are paused.
