Irrelevant. Was still a deterrent. Brexit also thwarted day-to-day operational cooperation with EU nations, incl access to shared databases/policing frameworks e.g Europol/Eurodac, halting our ability to ID repeat entrants, prove prior presence in another EU state, etc. HTH.
