I get this a lot.🤷‍♂️ Folks, this is not an answer to Jesus's question. This is telling people who others say Jesus is. I would argue this shows you don't actually know Him yourself.

🇻🇦 Rome's eschatology is a disaster. They're not looking for the Christ who brings a 1000 year kingdom followed by a new heavens and new earth. They're looking for the first serpernatural being to show a sign of resurrection and purge dissenters. 🫤 ⚠️ Rome skips right over the rapture of the church (1 Thes 4:17), the judgment seat of Christ in heaven where believers receive the things done in the body (2 Cor 5:9-11), the return of Christ with the saints (Rev 19:11-14), the sheep and goat judgment where survivors of the tribulation face the judgment seat of Christ on earth (Mat 25:31-46), the millennial reign of Christ from Zion for 1000 years (Rev 20), and the new heavens and new earth (Rev 21). So much more but for time's sake... 🚩 The Catholic Church teaches that Revelation should be read liturgically and spiritually, not as a strict timeline of future events. And that's too bad because Revelation tells us about a man who has a ressurection event... 📖 The beast that you saw— it was, and now is no more, but is about to come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet will be. To save the Jews from the nations of the earth and the antichrist (Rev 19:17-21). 🚩 So basically all Rome needs is a supernatural being to come set up a kingdom and purge dissenters for their eschatology to be fulfilled. 📖 “I have told you these things so that you will not fall away.
