🚨 A US bank fired its entire India-based employee team during a five-minute Google Meet call yesterday.
All 80 employee families were affected just with a 5-minute call. 🙏

Jiska darr tha, wahi hua… UPI par charges officially aa gaye. Abhi ₹2,000 se upar merchant payments par fee lagegi, aur technically merchant ko pay karni hai. But honestly, mujhe nahi lagta yeh cost hamesha merchant hi absorb karega.
Aaj merchant pay karega. Kal convenience fee ke naam pe hum customers bhi pay karenge.
UPI free tha, isi liye India mein itna explode hua. I have a feeling ki agle 6 months mein hum active UPI usage mein thoda slowdown dekh sakte hain… especially higher-value payments mein.
Hope I’m wrong. What do you think?
National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI): A revised UPI Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) framework will take effect on select merchant (P2M) transactions starting October 15, 2026, while keeping UPI completely free of cost for consumers and all transactions up to ₹2,000. Under the new rules, small merchants earning up to ₹1 lakh per month via QR codes will pay zero MDR, a flat ₹5 fee will apply to transactions above ₹2,000 in specific categories like railways and fuel, and other high-value P2M transactions will attract a 0.4% charge capped at ₹300. The initiative also introduces a dedicated fund to upgrade digital payment infrastructure for small vendors and Tier 3 markets.
No impact on small-value UPI transactions up to ₹2,000 for all merchants, which account for more than 95% of all UPI P2M transactions.

Just realized Flipkart charges ₹1,000+ in random fees when placing an order. What an absolutely disgraceful company.

If only Flipkart made this open box delivery thing optional (or train their delivery agents to make this process not feel like a nightmare), Flipkart is certainly offering the best exchange rates on the purchase of iPhone 18 Pro phones.
My iPhone 16 Pro Max is going for around Rs 95000, while the 15 Pro Max for around Rs 78000.
The iPhone 18 Pro would have effectively cost me around Rs 64000 (Rs 6000 bank discount)

I really want Vi to succeed.
Otherwise, we could end up with just two major telecom operators Jio and Airtel, and that’s not good for consumers. With less competition, both could have more room to play games with pricing and keep increasing tariffs every few months.
Vi’s 4G speeds have been really good for me, maybe partly because there are fewer people using the network.
I haven’t tried Vi 5G yet, but I’ll definitely share my experience if I get a chance to test its 5G speeds. 📶

BSNL × Vi could be going NATIONAL. 🇮🇳
Vodafone Idea and BSNL are reportedly looking to expand their network-sharing partnership across all telecom circles in India.
Potentially including:
→ Intra & inter-circle roaming
→ Tower sharing
→ Optical fibre sharing
→ Wider network access
BSNL subscribers currently have access to Vi’s network in Delhi & Mumbai.
If expanded nationwide, this could be a huge network boost for BSNL users.

Flipkart and Ekart order D̶e̶l̶i̶v̶e̶r̶y̶ cancellation system 🚨
- Let customers place the order first
- Customers wait for their order to get shipped
(lucky if flipkart seller didn't cancel your order)
- Your order arrived at your nearby Ekart hub
- Customers waiting for "Out For Delivery" notification
- No delivery attempts, no prior calls
- Boom, Your order has been cancelled 💀
hot take : Amazon is still better than flipkart when it comes handling failed deliveries
This is an Ekart delivery boy who used to cancel a person's parcel without even calling!
The customer then goes to Ekart's hub and asks for their item to be delivered from there!
Then the delivery boy refuses to deliver the item, saying, "No matter what you do, I won't deliver it to you!"
Cancelling an item without even calling the customer is absolutely wrong!
Action should be taken against such delivery boys who act as per their own whims!
Flipkart should also take action against this, as Ekart delivers their parcels; customers face problems because of such people!
