We'll worry about trusting our leader..you worry about trusting yours.
What the BC Conservatives are saying here is that British Columbians should write a blank cheque to the same party members that just picked Kerry-Lynne Findlay as their leader. Why would people ever trust them after what we've seen?

What’s happening to Canadian potash should make every Canadian absolutely furious. Our hard-working citizens, vital industries, and rich natural resources are being treated like cheap bargaining chips by foreign powers while our own leaders fail us. But watching Premier David Eby suddenly pretend he is the grand champion of Canada’s resource sector is a hollow, insulting joke. While his predecessor may have passed DRIPA, it was Eby himself who, as Attorney General, rammed through the Interpretation Amendment Act, 2021. By quietly rewriting the rules to mandate that every single provincial law must be subordinated to international declarations, he single-handedly injected toxic, unprecedented legal uncertainty across British Columbia’s entire resource sector. The consequences of his anti-development legal framework are devastatingly clear. When Nutrien looked to build a massive, new West Coast potash export facility, they took one look at the hostile regulatory minefield Eby engineered and chose Washington State instead. We lost the jobs. We lost the revenue. Now, with a sudden snap election looming and his political survival on the line, Eby desperately wants British Columbians to forget his own legislative record and believe he’s the guy standing up for Canadian resources. It is naked, cynical hypocrisy. We absolutely must fight for Canadian potash and protect our workers. But the way to do that is by aggressively building the infrastructure, pipeline capacity, and export redundancy that make our resource industries unbreakable. You cannot spend years systematically weaponizing the provincial legal system to destroy resource investment at home, and then reinvent yourself as an economic patriot the second it becomes politically convenient. British Columbians see right through the desperation, and our resource workers won't be fooled by a cynical, snap election conversion.
Every day Trump attacks another Canadian industry. Today, he’s targeting Canadian potash which comes primarily from Saskatchewan and ships out of BC ports. Trump is trying to use trade with dictators in Eastern Europe to hurt Canadian workers and businesses. I stand with the Premier of Saskatchewan, the Prime Minister, and all Canadians, to protect our workers and industries from US control.

One thing about a loud and vocal trump, is that it sure emboldens the retards. Keep trying to make waves on your electronic importance device. Sanctions... for wildfires... could your opinion be more impulsive, emotional and lacking of forethought?
👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 Congratulations to Sen. @berniemoreno and Rep. @JohnJamesMI for their bill imposing sanctions on Canadian officials. The Canadian state has always been the root of America’s issues with Canada. It shouldn’t exist. All provinces should seek to join the Union. 🇺🇸

Pancakes are a colonial symbol and perpetuate colonial stigmatization. Also, plaid is cowboy and hunter cultural appropriation. Whenever you do anything cultural, you're stealing it from someone else. But if you have culture, its called colonialism. Don't you know that Marc?
It’s not Stampede if you didn’t flip a few pancakes! 🥞 Thanks to @coreyhoganyyc for the warm welcome in his community, and to everyone who stopped by!

Is Brookfield involved in any losses being covered here? Is this what Carney means when he says he's going to de-risk investment with the Wealth fund?
If developers fail to profit from new homes they can reduce their asking price or rent them out. That’s how the market naturally corrects and homes become affordable for regular Canadians. Instead the Carney government is artificially inflating home prices with your tax dollars.

Since when would conservatives hate competition? Whats being proposed is very much a conservative valued idea.... This idea, as written by CTV doesnt sound like a liberal initiative. A liberal idea wouldnt try to foster competition, it would try to mandate equity.

Your fundamental error is believing you should control innocent people by limiting their rights, under the guise of, and with hope of, protecting the public. When you should actually punish those who do harm, and let good people act freely.
Our laws were drafted in a pre-digital era: focused on punishment, with almost no obligation on platforms to prevent harm. We’re changing that with the Safe Social Media Act. It puts kids first, holding platforms and AI chatbots accountable for child safety by design. Because protecting our kids means protecting our future. Read more about it here: tinyurl.com/572jfjfb

A biophysics grad was just detained under BC's Mental Health Act. All based on a psychiatrist's opinion after observing him in a cafe. He looked at him & said “I’m certifying you” THAT’S ALL IT TOOK. No warrant. No on scene evaluation. No psych evaluation. No paperwork shown. No chance to comply voluntarily. Just because a psychiatrist saw him in a cafe. Meanwhile, the same city has a documented drug addicts, where one person, has been apprehended 79 times and is still on the street. The government can grab a credentialed researcher off the road in 20 minutes but it can't keep a chronic offender out of the same intersection for more than a week? What a joke.

The province of Quebec owns Hydro Quebec. It sells electricity below-market value to their residents – in order to receive more in equalization payments. Quebec has Canada’s lowest electricity rates, yet it remains the largest recipient of equalization. This year, Quebec's natural resource revenue is $4.18 billion, and it will therefore receive $13.91 billion in equalization. A 4¢ hike in Quebec’s electricity prices (to align more closely with other provinces) could shift approximately $3.65 billion to other recipient provinces. The table below shows that iof Quebec sold its power at the going rate, Ontario would be the big winner with an extra $2.5 billion in equalization. I still think the whole program should be scrapped.

Eby: Actual issues in BC are a total dumpster fire, and I can't actually articulate any reasonable solution to them, so Ill stand firm on a low-priority issue so I can hopefully people to say positive things about me like 'He's a champion for womens Rights!"
British Columbians are seeing women’s rights under attack in the US and they are worried about Trump’s copycats here at home. So let me be clear: our government is expanding the scope of practice for midwives — including the ability to prescribe mifegymiso, the abortion pill.

This headline is just another Liberal illusion. Mark Carney promised all of this a year ago when he passed his C-5 law. He got ample coverage pretending he was actually going to get things built. He still hasn’t fast-tracked a single project. Now he re-promises it. And the story gets run again like it's something new. It’s déjà vu all over again.

He must have put his MLA-ship in a blind trust.
Leadership starts with honesty, and British Columbians deserve the truth. Premier David Eby claimed he was not briefed on the Musqueam Aboriginal title agreement. He said he knew nothing about it. His ministers said the same. Then the photos surfaced. There he was, sitting front row at the signing ceremony as the deal was finalized, a deal impacting large parts of Metro Vancouver and the people who live there. Now we are told he was only there as a local MLA. That is not credible. You do not attend a historic agreement of this magnitude and claim you had no idea what was happening. British Columbians expect better. Join me, Findlay4BC.ca

Thank you for being true to the voters who elected you !!💙🇨🇦
Over the past few weeks, I have been approached by the Liberals and encouraged to cross the floor. I have firmly rejected their offer.

Outrageous
In today's episode of Canada's justice system is a joke: A man r@p3d a 13 year old child - numerous times and got her pregnant twice. Once *while he was on release * and he violated his conditions a number of times, which means he has been arrested many times. He fathered kids with many random women. He was permitted an adjournment to explore what impact his guilty plea has on his immigration status because HE IS NOT EVEN A CANADIAN CITIZEN! 🤬 Why was he not deported a long time ago?! Sick to my stomach reading this. Canada is a safe haven for foreign pedos and grooming gangs. You are not mad enough!

Is your position that Nutriens billion dollar decision was based on Moe being unreachable by telephone for a week? Get a grip.. What was the premier to do anyway? Get taxpayers to cover Nutriens risk or losses if they took the harder/less economic route? Give your Dr back.
Moe has let his province down again. And once again the reason was because he was too busy working for his oil and gas donors.
