Hey Prof, apologies for an unrelated Q, but I’m working on this podcast series exploring Epstein’s emergence out of the Iran-Contra shadow arms economy and his geopoliticking, lobbying, and backroom dealmaking efforts to isolate the Axis of Resistance later in the 2010s that preceded the present escalations by the Epstein Imperium. the past week has been unnecessarily hectic and i have done a horrendous job at promoting thus far but this book i have spent the last couple years writing is finally out in the world and i am deeply horrified but proud of it. worked so hard on being as humbly sober, fair, and honest as humanly possible.
it is a polemic, historical, and theoretical. flawed, maybe even limited—but deeply curious. and rooted in an utter devotion to wanting to advance contemporary struggle beyond its severely underdeveloped and embryonic stage in which we’ve found it (but trying to perform an autopsy for the world we have inhabited).
very excited to be in dialogue with so many brilliant folks, to hear criticisms and takedowns, in the coming months!!!
