The Demon’s Souls remake is one of the most arrogant and disrespectful things ever done by the gaming industry.
A group of Western developers thinking they could somehow “improve” Hidetaka Miyazaki’s vision of his own creation is hilariously absurd and, at the same time, a perfect showcase of what’s wrong with the AAA Western industry mentality. It explains a lot.
So yeah, I’m very happy that Sony decided to shut down Bluepoint.
I always believed that after what they did with Demon’s Souls, they would never be allowed to touch any of Miyazaki’s creations again, and I’m glad I was right all this time.
One cannot “remake” art.

Si se te llena la boca de "arte" cuando hablas de videojuegos, no puedes obviar la finalidad real del medio (y de toda expresión artística) que es la de comunicar y transmitir.
No todos los videojuegos divierten (pues la diversión es subjetiva), pero todos transmiten algo.

Divertirse, en todo caso, puede ser tu finalidad única a la hora de jugar a videojuegos, que no necesariamente la del autor.
