Update. 8 months on and no issues. Knock on wood, but this appears to be the fix.
When I first got into NFT’s in 2021, one of the first things I wanted to do was display them. I installed no less then 11 displays throughout the house including this wall of 4 BlueCanvas displays that became a theme with #weeklywallartist posts throughout 2021-2022.
They have proven NOTORIOUSLY unreliable, but today I think I finally have a permanent fix. The power supplies on these are the primary culprit, providing a steady ~60W at 24V through a USB-C power plug. Last month 3 out of 4 of them went kaput all at once as we were getting a new smart panel installed in the house. Fortunately, the screens all survived (this time, sometimes the power supply fried them).
I asked Claude for answers, and it delivered. Using a single 320W Mean Well, industrial quality brick, I am now powering all 4 screens from one source. Fingers crossed, but the wall is back in operation again! 5 years on, and still going.

I was very fortunate to find @DesLucrece early in my NFT journey. Overdue for #WeeklyWallArtist. Amazing Artist. Great human. Congrats on a breakout 2021. My top pieces in the collection: The Machine, Loudspeaker, Alpha Chromo, and the Child.
The first 5 minutes of the new Ted Lasso show is some of the worst writing I’ve ever seen on TV. What happened?
I locked down a Spyder RS. Last build slot at my dealer. Absolute dream car. Would pick every day over any other p-car.
And the news we've all expected thanks to @Motor1com
"In a statement to Motor1, Porsche’s Head of Corporate Communications, Matthias Rauter, clarified that the combustion-engine 718 duo was never actually confirmed for a comeback. Hence, the cars aren’t technically canceled since they weren’t even approved to begin with. Technicalities aside, the hard fact is this: The Boxster and Cayman are not getting their beloved gas engines back."

seeing lots of discussion lately on the impact of AI in graphics programming and interactive/coding communities.
what used to require technical expertise, years of study, arcane knowledge has now been reduced to a quick prompt. it’s a hard pill to swallow; there’s a joy and intellectual stimulation in solving complex exercises with hand-written code, but I suspect developing in that way will very soon be obsolete & automated (or already is). 😓
for what it’s worth, I still believe that “think bigger” is a good way to stay sane and a step ahead. not just working on something more technical, that a future model might beat, but working on something you find ambitious, that you might never have even considered previously.
also, it’s worth remembering:
AI is a jagged intelligence: it still sucks at making art, coming up with original ideas, writing good prose, having good aesthetics/taste, doing any kind of graphic design.
AI knowledge needs to be extracted: even if a future model can solve a hard problem, for now we still need humans to “mine” and surface these answers.
AI models today are large and inefficient: there’s a lot of value in developing smaller representations, and bringing them into constrained environments (interaction, games, web, embedded systems).
I think a lot of people are missing the point when they say "just build bigger!", "solve bigger problems!"
Months of solving a hard problem on a top-tier, 20x coding plan may be reduced to a prompt by the next generation.
Will the next version understand taste and execution better? Will it low-level optimize better? Will it have more varied art styles?
Feels like we're arguing about how to build the best sandcastle, and the tide's coming in.

Well, it looks like I had 2 WETH exploited. That f'in sucks. Also 2 Jims were not saved. 1 Murakami and 2 Toadz were saved. I revoked all my permissions on all wallets. That I could have 2 WETH sucked out of my wallet just like that is a nightmare for security.
At 9AM EST today somebody abused a bug in Payment Processor V2 to steal 10 Meebits, 50 Otherdeeds, 10 WoW, and 235 Desperate Apewives.
It wasn't until over 12 hours later that somebody reported it to me, and upon digging in I realized that a great many NFTs were subject to the same exploit.
I got in touch with the team over at LimitBreak and they quickly paused Payment Processor V3, which was subject to the same exploit. Unfortunately, V2 was not pausable, so the only path towards protecting affected assets was to run a whitehat operation.
Similarly, V3 on ApeChain is temporarily in a state where it cannot be paused, so ApeChain assets approved to V3 needed to be saved as well.
All in all, we rescued 23,155 NFTs worth north of $5.7M USD.
We later discovered that a similar exploit could be used in reverse to steal WETH. 660 WETH was at risk, which we unfortunately were not fast enough to recover. Apologies to those affected.
Shout out to @Boomskite for flagging the initial exploit tx to me, and @coffeedev @0xjustadev and @whiteoakkong for acting quickly and assisting with the recovery.
All NFTs are safely relocated. Soon, owners will be able claim them back after revoking the exploitable approvals.
Addresses to revoke below.

Excited to share that a new Des Monster has arrived.
“#53 The Wader” has been acquired for 7.5 ETH, including a 1/1 painting commission. 🧿
Do not ever buy a @Ruggable rug. I guess you get what you pay for. I wrestled with the ridiculous Velcro pads for about an hour, including slicing a finger on a pad, and at the end of my struggle was created with the most lumpy cheap looking excuse for a rug that I’ve ever owned. Buy proper rugs people! Lesson learned.
