I want to make this clear.
I don't care who you are. You could be anybody. I don't care what your political beliefs are. I don't care who the President is; it could be Trump, or Biden, or Obama or William Henry Harrison.
None of that matters.
If you get personally invited BY THE PRESIDENT to the White House or the SOTU, and you are not dealing with your own impending death or the impending death of a close family member, or the imminent birth of your child, YOU FIGURE OUT A WAY TO GO.
You figure it out.
To decline is disrespectful to the OFFICE of the President (and not the man or woman sitting in that office), and is disrespectful to our Constitution, our flag and our nation.
It's disrespectful.
PERIOD.
I know that's just my opinion and everybody has opinions, but I'm standing on this opinion as being the absolutely correct one to hold.
(Note that my belief has nothing to do with politics or Left/Right. It merely has to do with love for the country that gave you a historic opportunity.)

These cowards received more respect from Mr Brooks’ son, and brother in the letters the ADA read than I could have ever offered.
As a Christian, I know that wishing harm come to another is wrong, but as a human, I hope they meet the same fate they happily forced upon Mr Brooks.
4 corrections officers in New York were sentenced for beating an incarcerated Black man to death. Despite none of the officers turning on their cameras, 30 minutes of video was recorded without audio. The police lynching of Robert Brooks is some of the most disturbing police footage I've seen.
Nicholas Anzalone and Anthony Farina were sentenced to 22 years in prison. Michael Mashaw was sentenced to 3 to 9 years. David Walters was sentenced to 2 to 7 years.
Robert Brooks was punched and kicked in the groin, abdomen, and face by prison staff. He suffered massive brain trauma from multiple beatings and choked on his own blood.
I was today years old when I learned that if you don’t answer @Xfinity spam calls, they just sign you up for service you don’t want; didn’t ask for, and won’t use.

I was offered 40% another inedible pizza from @PapaJohns after they delivered a wholly NOT edible pizza previously.
Do people actually spend more money on food they can’t eat just because it’s discounted?
And do they not realize by the time the fees are added it’s like $5 off?
Haven’t had @PapaJohns since college, but I’m pretty sure that it’s supposed to be a little warm and we shouldn’t be able to lift the entire pizza out of the box multiple times without it coming apart.
