Today marks 33 years since my dad died. I was just four years old. It feels quite fitting that today, of all days, I can finally announce that my book, A Son Never Forgets: Exposing the Infected Blood Scandal, is now available to pre-order. Over the last couple of years, I’ve been quietly working away on writing it when I can. It’s part memoir, part chronology of the decade I spent on the Infected Blood campaign and perhaps most of all, it’s about telling my truth. There’s personal story about grief, family, identity and some rather unexpected discoveries along the way. There’s been laughter, tears, anger and more than a few moments where I’ve wondered how on earth my life ended up taking the turns it has. And somehow I’ve managed to squeeze it all into a book. Not bad for a lad who got a D in his English GCSE! 😄 I’m incredibly grateful to Biteback Publishing for believing in the story and helping me bring it to life. I’m also pleased to announce that every penny of my author royalties received during the first year will be donated to Holocaust remembrance charities and Child Bereavement UK. Both causes that mean a great deal to me personally. The book will be published on 26 November 2026, but you can pre-order it now from Amazon, Waterstones etc. Above all, this book is dedicated to the man whose life, and death, set me on this extraordinary journey. This one’s for you, Dad. ❤️ 📖 Pre-order here: amzn.eu/d/05hS3cAX

In June, my new book, Ten Years On: The Untold Story of Brexit, was published by @BitebackPub. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of discussing the book and revisiting some of the most memorable moments of the referendum campaign, as well as my wider journey in politics. This video brings together a few of these moments, along with the question I’ve been asked more than any other: was Brexit worth it? My answer remains an unequivocal yes. Thank you to everyone who has interviewed me, attended an event, bought a copy, or shared their thoughts on the book. It has been wonderful to see the response and, in particular, to speak to young campaigners keen to change the world. Special thanks to: @wallaceme @MrHarryCole @jimmym @LeeDavidEvansUK @richardmarcj @hugorifkind @LiamHalligan @iancollinsuk

With Andy Burnham on the brink of being installed as Labour leader and Prime Minister, I've decided to write a book about him. As usual, it'll be unauthorised. And of course it'll published by @BitebackPub. If anyone can assist with information that would be helpful please contact [email protected] Please see full announcement here👇 Lord Ashcroft announcement of new book about Andy Burnham I am pleased to announce that my next project will be a book about Andy Burnham, the Makerfield MP who is nailed on to be installed as Labour leader, and so become Britain’s next prime minister, this month. The book will examine Burnham’s life and career, asking why he and hundreds of Labour MPs think he is fit to govern after almost a decade away from Westminster as Mayor of Manchester and what Britain under his brand of socialism – so-called ‘Manchesterism’ - will be like. With a maximum of three years until a general election must be held, Burnham is in a race against time to prove himself, a task made no easier in the era of multi-party politics. Who is Andy Burnham? Where did he come from? What was his track record in government under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown? For how long did he plot his route to the highest office in the land? And what explains his sudden appeal given he was soundly beaten to the Labour leadership by Ed Miliband in 2010 and then again by Jeremy Corbyn in 2015? The book will shed new light on Burnham and his cabal by addressing these and other questions. As with all of my books, this one will be independent, objective, open-minded, fair and even-handed. It is my intention to publish it and my previously announced book on Zack Polanski in 2027. I look forward to sharing my findings when both books are published by Biteback Publishing. "This book is well-researched, well-written and easy to read. It won’t change the views of those who hate Farage – or fear him – but it might show some voters that beneath the showmanship and carefree façade is a deeply patriotic man" 📚 @CatharineHoey reviews @LordAshcroft's 'The Farage Factor' | @BitebackPub bit.ly/3QwvBge

Thank you to @IainDale for having me on the All Talk Podcast. Something interesting we discussed is that, for almost nine years, the manuscript to Ten Years On sat unfinished. I began it some months after the referendum, revisited it during COVID, and then left it on the shelf. Thankfully, the 10th anniversary finally gave me the reason to complete it.
